what, and allow melee champs to deal with sustained AP damage?

still sitting here waiting for a mr alternative to dorans, to deal with ap champs in lane early on.

or something that compares to cloth + 5 pots.

the best i can do so far is start longsword + 3 pots and rush hexdrinker. but thats kindof risky, as it requires you to play very aggressive early on and not make a single mistake.

IMO the best start for most melee AD champs is longsword and 3 pots.

When laning against Vladimir it is important to abuse his early game as much as possible, especially if your champion has an oppressive early game. It's not the worst, but it's far from the best. If he wastes his Q then it is time to go in and zone him out. If his escape is down, know that it has a long cool down, and punish him. Gap closers are amazing against Vladimir early game. If you have CC to go along with that then you shouldn't have a problem.

are good items to start getting early against him If you feel you have to build around him. QSS is especially nice because of his ult.

Which melee champs are you playing? Because quite a few can take a dump on vlad.
