Let me start off by saying i'm sorry for all the accidental doges, all the unintentional long wait times, all the rage and hate regarding this new system.

BUT I HAVE AN EXCUSE.

Rito, i have two monitors, while i'm in queue or in the lobby i have my screen focused on the second monitor to watch a video or read the news. I've had so many queue dodges, including one right now, (free salt included in this post), that made me just lose one of my promos games.

I'm not afk, i'm there, i just don't know if its my turn to ban or pick. There are two reasons why, First and foremost is the new lobby is terribly and unnecessarily loud. I have my SFX turned down because the champions are extremely loud and there's a bunch of residual background noise that plays and interferes with my music. Second. the game gives me no notification that its my turn. Half the time i only realize i'm banning or picking when i hear the 10 second ticker counting down to my inevitable doom and i'm forced to rush pick something. All Riot would have to do is make a large sound effect, bring the game to the center of my screen, or make the icon on the bottom flash to let me know that it's my turn.

Please Riot, sincerely a Bronze 3 Player who will hopefully be Bronze 2 soon even though he just screwed up his promos.

You have to monitors, I have two monitors! Having two monitors means you have no excuse, as you can look back and forth very quickly.

Pro tip: your selection area will turn orange just before it's your turn. You could be deaf and know your turn was coming.

Or, you could just pay attention during champ select.

There's more going on there than locking in your champion.

Try, maybe, talking to your team. Thinking about the picks that are happening. Think about how they will impact the game, and how they will impact your choice.
