Karma has no Karma

Rito..... i just got finshed with a game with a rumble top vs Karma. It wasn't bad early game, i forced her out of lane a few times and all was well. Then she got chalice of harmony and Athenes and well...... Lets just say i held up very well for the amount of damage she was doing. I went 1/2 that game, the only reason i got a kill was due to a gank, but the reason i had two deaths is because she literally beat my DPS as rumble. If i even tried to engage her at all with anything her spellsheild comes up instantly along with the point and click stun with the Q. >.> jesus i was lucky if i could even the trade. She got out of my ults and took no damage from my Q and ran away from me when things got bad for her. With Athene's mana regen and 20% cdr she legit spammed her Q. Could we please bring the old Karma back, this is a little hard to play against.

It's taken how long for people to realize Karma's absolute terror against melee top-laners, once she has her mana?

She has no point and click stun so I'm at a loss there same goes for a spell shield. Also that was just a bad match up right there, if you had someone with a good gap closer, you would have been able to trade fairly well.

She's a lane bully to short rangers and melee, what'd you expect. Play Ziggs/Lux/Xerath/Vel'koz against her and she's now cowering in fear.

She has a snare, not a stun. You can still attack her while snared.

Even with Chalice, she still has fairly significant mana costs and relatively poor waveclear (it costs her too much mana to constantly clear with spells), so you should be able to out-push her.

Stay behind minions (outside of her AoE range) when you think she's trying to Q you, since her main damage is a skillshot. Her tether has a long cooldown, attack her while it's down if you are melee. The same goes for her ultimate at early levels.

Finally, she's relatively squishy without her shield and ult-heal, so she dies quite easily to well-timed ganks. Just don't ever dive her while her ultimate is up.

The answer is timing. All she has to do is wait till she has mantra up and she can easily trade with a melee champion even if they manage to deal some damage back.

Engage after she uses her mantra and other spells. A good Karma however rarely lets her enemy get a chance to engage if she knows she can't win.

Check out this site so you can get better at countering: http://www.championselect.net/

As you see here, Karma is strong against Rumble. Whenever a champion lacks Tips, you're best bet is to sit back and play it safe. What you need to rely on is holding your tower. Keep the river warded and, if your Jungle counters Karma, go all in with them. If not, you'll have to wait until Team Fights start up so you can truly shine. That ult was made for Team Fights and you will be a great asset at devouring all enemies.

Oh! And when she is about to get Ganked, make sure you get her to waste her Ult on you before going All-In. Her Ult W can give her massive advantage in both a solo fight and a 2v1.

Her stun is technically a "point and click" but you also need to stay in close range for it to stun at all.

Yeah, it's a point/click but you can break the chain so she cannot root you. It will only root you at the end of the duration afterall.
