If a champion doesnt fit in the meta?

should they be buffed till the meta is changed ... or left as is until the meta shifts...

looking at you not because i want him buffed.. just noticed at this moment in time he has the lowest win rate.

He has the lowest win rate since he just got reworked so tons of people are just trying him out for fun, not necessarily any good with him.

They made his Q harder to hit and nerfed every single mana scaling. The reason his winrate is low is because his kit is garbage stat wise.

It is the same issue with Tristana . They gave her a better explosive shot, but nerfed the numbers on literally everything else. They reduced her armor, HP, Attack speed, Attack speed growth, AP scalings, base damages, and range on her passive (IMHO this was the nail in the coffin, her passive was iconic and was the core of her respected late game strength, now there is no reason to pick her over Caitlyn Jinx )

Just because you give someone a new ability does not give you the right to nerf the hell out of every single stat she has. That's why she is so weak right now, all the other ADC's simply outstat her, she has to be twice as fed to do half their damage and her late game is no longer worth getting to.

They need to learn how to BALANCE the game correctly. There are too many champs that are Either nerfed to death or that never got nerfed enough.

Yeah Ryze is just too nerfed. Not sure why they would give him a skill shot Q.

I wouldn't say it's so much his Q but that he can't build like he used to without wasting stats.

He's still setup assuming he'll go tanky. But with 30% free CDR those tanky stats are hard to come by and ends up building full AP. A lot of this was tied to Frozen Heart. The last tanky mana item he could actually get.

Sure there's IBG, but he'll get more out of Hourglass. And it costs a bit more than FH. Even then it'd likely put him 5% over the CDR cap. 5% he can very easily get from runes or ignore. Righteous Glory isn't really a worthwhile item on him since his ult gives him a MS boost already. Maybe Lichbane, but he doesn't have much time to AA while his passive is active.

Top it off after these changes. He has low scaling and ranges for an AP mage. Sure he gets damage from mana. But that's taken off his base damage.

If they want to return him to what he used to be they need to give him some defensive boosts in his kit other than his shield.

Otherwise increase the AP ratios on his Q and W and go from there.

i just used Ryze as an example.. not because i care about him.. or trying to get something done to help him. and the point i was making was ... when shifting the meta.. alot of times champions are left behind.. thats all.
