The anti snowballing mechanisms in this game is a cancer.

I was playing against a garen, i was literally a kill above him with 65 cs, while he was like 15 cs, but he was the same level as me and kept up with me. I wasn't able to do jack shit to him until I had 3 items above him. Like fuck this system, change it. Bad csing and no skill shouldn't be rewarded because people cry " unfair" when they get snowballed because they didn't have the skill to beat or be the said snowballer.

Would be interesting to hear from you, what you think this system actually does.

He really has a vendetta against Garen judging by his multiple posts about him.

what do you mean? He was leveling from minions dying around him and not actually getting the cs. He should be forced to get cs to level as fast as me while only getting a much reduced level buff from minions dying around him. Why should i be on equal level as someone with 30 cs while i have 100+? That isn't skilled, that isn't outplay. Riot is just feeding the cry babies who whine about snowballing because they have little skill.

LMFAO, with that logic, everyone would be picking duelists and bruiser champions who can easily zone cs from their lane. No that is the dumbest logic I have ever heard.

Why should you be rewarded for havign no skill?

So because you zoned a champion off CS, it makes them have no skill? Man, I have had it wrong the whole time.

If he got zoned and couldn't do anything, what skill does he have?

Obviously enough to still rape you later in the game despite having such an item disadvantage.

Leaf on Bush1 votes

Well the minions also give gold and levels only make you slightly stronger. The item diffrence still matters.

This would absolutely kill late game champions. People would just pick the best, earliest game champions and steamroll. If you can't make the advantage larger on your own, that is your fault. Zone them out of experience range if you have the lead, don't let them linger in it.

Do you really believe this game is centered around 1v1? YOU ARE NOT MEANT TO BE ABLE TO 1V1 EVERYONE JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A GOLD LEAD OVER THEM.

All that Garen provides is damage and a damage soaker for his team. Maybe your champion has CC or ranged damage to compensate.

Utility goes a long way. Take Ahri as an exemple, at some point they nerfed her damage, but increased her mobility. Her winrate skyrocketed and they had to nerf her.

Xavanic2 votes

but they havent nerfed her in like a year...even though she has a 55% win rate while having a 25% pick rate in mid

Frightning1 votes

Yea, she's still strong, even though her damage has been worse that it used to be (I still remember when her ult was on about half the CD it's on now; release Ahri...shudders)

Xavanic1 votes

Shes still annoying, and deserves a good hit from the nerfbat, start adding more variety to mid lane, rather then ahri every game

Frightning1 votes

I actually don't see her a ton, though she certainly isn't rare either (like, say, Lissandra mid is these days).

Xavanic1 votes

I see her roughly once every second game, sometimes theres a dry spell, but i see her at least 20x more then any other mid laner (minus yasuo)

Also being close to minions give experience because otherwise lane bullies would just overpower their lane. Imagine a Darius that zones you out of farming, which already makes you lose gold, if he also make you lose exp, not only wouldn't you get gold, but you wouldn't get lvls. At this point someone who is behind would just be unable to do anything anymore. It wouldn't be fair.

Also you're the crybaby that whine on the forums about Veigar Garen Illaoi or whatever champion happens to beat you in lane.

crybaby? stfu. If you're bad enough to get zoned, that is on you.

At least i don't feed almost every game and cry about balanced champions being OP unlike you :)

Context? Some champions are hard to kill.

The context is I had a kill and 65 cs on him he had a death and 15 cs, but because the system kept him the same level as me and because garen is a cheap champion, he was on par with me.

Frightning6 votes

If you were beating him that hard, why couldn't you convert that advantage into a kill lead/lane win, and then use your lead to snowball you team?? Sounds to me like Garen did exactly the right thing against you (avoided feeding you, and kept up in levels at least, though his CS was garbage). You seem to be suggesting that he should have no recourse other than to die to you over and over again (which should be happening anyways if you have that big of a lead and that much control over your lane). If you couldn't win a duel w/ him w/ a 65 cs lead to his 15 total, I have to question how you were building your champ, because with that kind of lead I would be shitting all over my opponent in that lane).

Garen is a simple champion, all he has to build is tanky with a lot of hp and no matter the lead, if he can sustain the fight to press r, he can come back easily enough.

Frightning2 votes

And what were you building to counter that? Lord Dominik's Regard, Void Staff, Blade of the Ruined King...etc. exist expressly so you can have answers to someone like Garen building a bunch of tank stats like that, and...if he's building pure tank, his damage is going to be quite a bit less than it would be if he actually got some damage. Moreover, outside of lane, he's easily peeled and kited in teamfights (only has his Q breaking slows and giving MS, no other means of gap-closing in his kit). His ult is an execute, meaning it does damage based on missing health, so unless you're already chunked out, it's not going to hit for that much damage.

The first step to beating any champ is understanding how they work. Go read: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Garen and think about what you could do against that as insert champ you were playing here.

Anti-snowballing was more like Cho'Gath losing ult stacks on death.

Not what you are describing...

Guys, guys, he posts this all the time. He thinks Garen is the most broken champion ever. He is unranked so his term of skill is not known to any of us. Pece, Jake [slayer-jinx-wink]
