This is something that has been bugging me since I walked into the ranked scene.

So, this is pretty much the scenario. me playing (Mid or top) Say I am happy farming in MY lane and my jungle wants to gankm Me being in lane all game, decides its a bad idea, Jungle decides hes going to do it any way. What should I do? Follow him into his bad decision or let him suicide and rage at me.

I have asked several streamers, A challenger, a platinum, a gold, and a hand full of random elo/rank streamers and I can't get a definitive answer.

I do realize this is a very vague example and there is tons of factors that may change situation. Like the path the jungle chooses to gank, Who has flash, who has their ult, is any form of CC involved, how many kills does the enemy have, where is the enemy jungle. You get the idea.

Well, in my humble opinion, you should asses the situation. If your jungler dies, or if the enemy laner turns on you, do you have an escape mechanism to get out? if the answer is yes, then sure go help him. but if theres a risk of you dying, you need to spam ping your jungler. If your jungler then wants to 1v1 your laner its his call.

If he wants to gank and you think it's a bad idea tell him that you don't went to and ask him to gank another lane. Or if he still gos him in let him die.

Ping them off. Junglers, especially in lower elos, sometimes don't take into account other factors aside from the enemy being pushed into tower. If you're low on mana, ping your mana percentage, low on health, ping your health percentage, summoners or abilities on cd, ping your timers. If they go in full throttle anyway then that's on them. They may still come into your lane with the intention to ease the pressure from the enemy laner and/or burn one of their summoners and that's fine, but if you see them going in too deep ping them off. If they flame you can refer them back to your previous pings for them to back off. Mute them if they won't let it go.

Ping them off. If they engage anyway try to cover their retreat but dont fully commit and continue to ping them off. If they keep trying all in even after that point then it's on them.

Not every gank has to be balls to the walls going for a kill. A lot of times if you assist him when he ganks you can burn summoners on your lane opponent or manipulate the wave into a more favorable position without risking death yourself.
