Zoe's bubble is disgusting

For a character that only has to hit one spell to do whatever damage she does, it seems a little ridiculous to have a CC spell on par with a tanks. Does it REALLY need an area of effect trap which last for two seconds AFTER it MISSES you? Does that really seem fair?

Small Edit: Perhaps the reason it feels unfair is because it gets part of two worlds. Is the skill a skill shot or a trap? Traps don't trigger instantly when they hit someone. They're used to cut off routes of escape while skill shots don't stay after they're shot. Whats the intent of the skill? I believe it should just be a skill shot considering I rarely have used it as a means to cut off an opponent. You want to keep the circle? Go ahead, just don't make it linger like a trap. The player shouldn't be rewarded for missing.

It's 4 seconds actually. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

She's has an AoE trap which is pretty bad except as temporary path denial so she can hit you with it as well.

Hitting one spell which CC's the target and allows a full combo is not even uncommon, it's normal for this game.

It's creative but it also gives time to position away and it's a pretty pencil-thin skillshot. It's also particularly hard when you max range a bubble then have to get back there with a damaging shot on tenacity opponents. They're still moving away from you pre-window, then the window is already gone by the time your damage gets there. It's easy to read pre-6, easy to avoid in lane, it really only gets annoying if she's at max CDR, but even then getting on top of her is probably a fight won. She can maybe get away but she's lost control because most things can kill her while waiting to fall asleep. You know she'll have to eventually pop up near you to finish the fight. You know she'll eventually have to use her skills a particular way. The only real valid argument I've seen against her is the abundance of W's she can get in a "snowballed" fight and disgustingly high damage for an early lead, but she doesn't really have lane priority early.

She's like Yasuo. She's balanced but she has one really annoying ability that has almost no counterplay.

My problem is that Zoe's E causes 2 seconds of slow and 2 seconds of sleep.

This is super-hard CC in only one skill; Morgana's Q is a candy compared to this.
