@Vlad mains, what are your thoughts on Haemoplague's damage amplification?

We all know the tragic story of poor ol' Vlad. Reworked to offer more counterplay and become a healthier champion, having his HP ratios abused in favor of a Tank build and finally getting gutted because of his dominance in Pro-play.

Now he's sitting at a measly 44% win rate and abysmal performance, all because of his prowess in a competitive league environment. Most of it does not only come from him being a rather safe laner but his Ultimate Haemoplague which offers a team wide 10% damage increase that makes team-fighting against him extremely dangerous.

And just like Malzahar Vlad got his other aspects nerfed before they addressed the real problem (Malz's Void Shift for example) with Vlad not even seeing nerfs to his R.

So, this begs the question, would you Vlad mains be opposed to trimming some power from his R, making him more selfish and thus allowing him to get buffed? Having his amp Scale with R rank instead of 10% regardless of level. (Maybe 5-7.5-10)

How things currently stand Vlad is not allowed to be buffed because of Pro play, that's why Kalista, Azir and Shen are being kept weak. So, why not just address this issue before just pumping more power into his kit?

I want Vlad reverted back to his release state.

What, you mean back when he was complete garbage and his R cost 25%+ of his health?

Back when he had 650 range Q on a 3s cd, E also on a 3s cd. And Will of the Ancients.

You do realize Will of the Ancients is a large part of what held him back, balance-wise, prior to the rework, right?

He has the benefits of WotA without being gimped by rushing a low-damage, slot-inefficient first item.

If you're that upset about it, you can buy Gunblade. Same AP, same healing, but with a burst active on it. You can make up the CDR in runes easily.

Making his Q/E more bursty with a slightly longer CD made him much less feast/famine.

I want it removed or made specifically to only affect Vlad's damage, with possible compensation buffs to the % amp.

I feel that, as a hypercarry, any time he's even remotely viable, he'll be pick/ban because of the massive difference his ult can make for his team.

I've been saying this since they originally planned to rework him, and it was ignored every time.

I left Vlad in the never play again pool with Malz.

no point of making the damage amplification per level since as you suggested it will eventually reach 10% and thats when vlad is strong: the lategame.

Vlad's late game is fine but he's still rather weak, especially early and mid game are really hard for him, making it scale allows for some early game buffs.

The damage amplification is not as useful in soloq as in pro play for sure. (Especially in low elo) I am not sure that it's his only problem though. I feel like Vlad in general is quite team reliant meaning that he needs his teammates to either lock down the enemy especially for him or gate the opposing team's cc that would numb him. While this is true for basically every midlaner Vladimir gains or loses more from this factor than the others in my opinion. And of course pro teams are way better at letting him flourish in a teamfight than most of us in soloq.

I am not sure that universal damage amplification is needed for him that much. If it was changed into amplifying only Vlad's damage it would probably hurt pro play Vlad a little and help out Soloq Vlad as well. Maybe the own damage amplification could be increased or if the percentage remains the same some other buffs could be useful.

Either way he is pretty weak right now. I often feel that i am not able to carry games with him even though I consider myself a Vlad main (360k currently). I often get good scores on him and it is rare that i go in negatives but still he feels to be a little underpowered even then. Not because of his own damage but his inability to carry teammates that can't exactly work together with him.

I'd say that it would be amazing if he would be more selfish with his ult. In solo q, it doesn't matter anyway. I hate seeing him in this bad spot but I can see why, with the current kit. Sometimes, I really don't understand what goes pn in riot. Anyone could tell his rework is gonna be hard to balance and put in the gutter like before. They hit a combo with ruining my blood lord skin this time too. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/fr/c/story-art/O2g1Udmd-riot-can-we-talk-about-the-blood-lord-vladimir-skin?sort_type=recent
