Ornn feels... Unimpactful
I've been playing with ornn recently. I must say that I find the champion interesting, but I really don't see what he brings to the table.
Buying items in lane is cool, but his aa animation is so clunky it's fairly easy to miss cs.
The items that unlock at lvl 13 are a noobtrap, I see ADCs with only upgraded IE and no other item, it kinda feels like I need to say at the start of the game to not buy them.
But more importantly, I don't feel I have an impact in the game, it's like I'm just passively watching the game unfold.
Whether I do good or bad in lane, TP to other lanes have been really underwhelming. He needs a lot of setup, so the delay of the TP plus the setup for Q or getting near to a wall result in almost never being able to CC. The side collision box is exactly aor slightly smaller than the model, so sometimes it looks like you are going to hit the terrain but you are not. In those situations you are really screwed, because you do almost 0 dmg and you lost your cc.
But at the end of the day, my problem is that it feels like I always depend on my team mates on winning the game. Whether I do all right in lane or I lose lane I can't effectively split push, siege, protect a carry or CC.
So, the end result is that I don't have an impact on the game.
How has your experience with ornn fared so far?
.
Your opponents chose champions with good/great lategame.
Your team is already arguing in lobby, so you don't trust them to work together well enough to pull ahead early and close out the game before getting outscaled.

. Gives everyone a little late game oomph. Just in case it's needed. Furthermore, his engages are so incredibly delayed and telegraphed, even the slowest reaction time player can follow up on it. yay!?
