Get rid of the "on fire" buff in Nexus Blitz and make it a Draft Pick

Whoever thought that adding that buff that gives you a god-like status of stats and cooldowns and damage, really needs to be put away. The only thing you get from stopping it... is a ton of gold. Oh boy.

What on earth is the purpose of it? It only activates if you're snowballing. So why on earth would you get this incredibly overpowered buff that only intensifies your snowballing by 10 times? Oh and let's not forget that multiple people can get that buff.

Legit, if a Katarina/Master Yi/Akali or literally ANY heavy snowballing champ gets that buff, then it's practically over.

There's no reason for it to exist since if a person is snowballing, they're already getting a ton of gold. Just adding that buff only makes them harder to kill and the gold you get, isn't even worth it.

The on-fire buff ruins Nexus Blitz :/

You forgot the part where the dude on fire also takes in 20% more damage, so it's a win-win.

Let's look at what the buff gives.

Pros:
+20% attack speed
+20-200 adaptive force (based on level)
TONS of cooldown reduction, **WHICH CAN EXCEED THE CDR CAP**
+100 mana or energy regen / 5 seconds

Cons:
+25% damage taken from champions
At least +800 gold granted on death to your killer and +200 gold to each of their allies—the bounty keeps climbing as you rack up more kills.

This is such a pitiful excuse at an attempt to make this look like it's fair, but you are absolutely drunk or high if you're gonna tell me that those so called trade-offs are a fair balance....

Let's also not forget more than one person can have this buff. And it doesn't inhibit anything else. You can still be healed, you can still be shielded, you can still recall, you can still do everything else and the ONLY weakness is that you take 25% more damage.... and that's it....

The on fire buff increases the damage you take as well. The point is to make the snowball terrifying, but also make you (theoretically) easier to shut down because you're taking 25% more damage and your hitbox becomes larger. I can see the point for it existing, but the reward you get for having the buff is much more intense than the punishment you get for having it at the moment. It can be tuned, though.

You do realize, its a EXPERIMENTAL MODE. Meaning it's not perfect.

Which is WHY I'm making a post. Giving feedback. That's the ENTIRE point of this post.

That's not FUN. It's not fun to have the buff and it's not fun to be on the receiving end of it.

Seriously. We have events for that. The buff is absolutely ridiculous. >.> It's not fun to be on the receiving end of that. ESPECIALLY if 2 or more people have it. It's absolutely positively not a fun game mechanic.

Its plenty fun. It feels great spamming your abilities as a big, hulking behemoth, and it feels great 5 man piling ontop of someone to get the kill after theyve slaughtered your team for so long.

And if you cant kill them, you dont need to deal with it long before the game ends.
