If Your Jungler Takes Devourer

Don't last hit the drag unless absolutely necessary, don't steal Rift Scuttler away. Those things give stacks and those stacks add up.

Don't steal Rift Scuttler is a given, or your big creeps. But you should, realistically be Smiting dragon and getting that. There's never a time when smiting a dragon shouldn't be done, I've seen a lot of cocky junglers lose their Dragon before I swooped in an Talon and just ult raked on them so quickly the dragon took the damage as well.

Indeed. You should be giving the jungler the scuttler anyway, the jungler gets 80 gp and laners only get 50 gp.

dragon > 1 devourer stack.

Don't flame your team for taking that.

If your jungler takes devourer, please dont forget to report him for afk farming for the whole game and picking a shitty champion.

How about just don't steal the rift scuttler?

It doesn't matter what enchant the jungler takes, +80 gold on jg is better than +50 gold on some other person. Really, a laner should not take any jungler creep that the jungler can efficiently take. If a jungler is going topside, and all his bot camps are up, you SHOULD take them as your team gets more gold that way. If a jungler is walking to his wraiths, you should NOT walk ahead of him and clear them. He gets more gold for them as well as an important vision buff.

By the same token, I will die of AIDS if I see one more jungler walk into a lane where a big wave is pushing and clear it while his entire jg is up. A laner can gather that gold efficiently WHILE you gather gold in jungle. If you take that, you're slowing down your jungle clear and wasting gold just to steal from your laner. He will in turn steal from your jungle to make up for lost creeps, and the situation will be laner taking jg creeps, jg taking lane creeps, which results in the same amount of gold being taken off the map, with less of it going to your team because of lost potential +bonus gold from jg killing jg creeps.

umm yah, no. If dragon is even contested in the slightest i'll be downing it. Same with scuttler if its for dragon/baron.

Don't steal the CS of the Scuttler, EVER. That's 30 Gold down the drain, and 90 gold lost for the Jungler.

I dont think devourer is a good item.

There are bigger problems if I am playing on a team with a jungler with devourer than making sure he gets Dragon and Scuttler. As in why my jungler is getting devourer in the first place.

Jokes aside, as bad as devourer is, it is still super important to get those devourer stacks. Devourer basically tells your team that you are going to be the least useful member of your team for the next 10-20 minutes, and letting the jungler get Dragon and Scuttler will reduce that time that you are less useful by at least 10-30 seconds. And those seconds are huge.

I LOVE STACKS

Drunk Rummate5/13/2015, 4:47:32 PM1 votes

If jungler isn't last hitting drag then that's a problem only he can solve. Smite the damn thing, I shouldn't even have a chance to last hit it...

Same rules apply with anyone that has stacks. I can't count the times junglers and ADCs have come to mid lane when I'm Veigar and taken CS that would have gone on my Q.
