Neglected champions (LCS picks and thoughts)

So I have been researching meta theory and it's all based around team composition requirements or efficiency. For some reason in this 2016 LCS, Kallista was either picked or banned 84.4% of the time, followed by Lulu at 83.3% P/B rate, and then Nidalee at a 81.1% P/B rate. Why are those champions so popular in the LCS and so unpopular in solo queue? And how come only 72/132 champions were touched in the LCS? Of course you don't see any Urgot, Shaco, or Teemo. Does this mean these champions require a buff? What reason could the LCS have to not pick them if those champions are well balanced?

PS: Haven't seen Lulu, Kallista, or Nidalee in a while in solo queue. Your results may vary.

Teamwork. The easiest answer is teamwork.

Precisely. LCS has perfect ping and guaranteed communcation AND existing teamwork dynamics. I have very good synergy with one of my friends when we bot lane together. When you get that sort of synergy between 5 players, champs like Kalista and Lulu that rely heavily on teamwork and communication become significantly more powerful.
