Proof that tanks are simply better

When you see the enemy team with 3 or 4 legit tanks, what does your team do in the chat? They groan at the fact that they are so tanky.

If you see no tanks, you excitedly say they are all squishy.

You see, intuitively we all know tanks are better overall and pose more of a problem.

That's the point lol tanks are not Unbalanced. They are perfectly fine. If they pick tanks and your team consists of Squishy adcs and mages you deserve to lose. But they pick tanks into Darius, cho, poppy, these guys that want to fight they lose.

Don't say something is just to good when people are to dumb to pick correctly into a comp.

Yes that's my point. Tanks have are hard to kill, often have great CC and yet...still do tons of damage, with tons of items to negate their slow speed.

But it does not make them better. Get a full damage poppy or gangplank and they do the exact same thing as a pure armor malphite. your reasoning is flawed.

I'm not saying they do the exact same damage. When did I say that? Please don't invent things in your head to argue against. I said they still do lots of damage, and even if they don't do as much as GP, when they are negating 85 percent of that damage with thousands of more HP, the damage they do will be significant against that non tanky fighter. What good is all that damage when malphite slows you and lowers your attack speed, and the attacks you do get off hardly hurt him

My reasoning is based on thousands of ranked matches. Most of the time a non tanky team that I am on will lose to team that has 3 or 4 very tanky champions. Sure, sometimes they lose, but we are talking about what happens more often. And more often then not, that is what happens.

That type of deductive reasoning is what those anti vaccine moms use. Tanks are not good simply because they're tanks. Tanks are ONLY good because they provide a frontline half the time. If a Tahm is the only tank on your team your teamfight will be shittttttt. It's not the tankiness of the champ, it's their ability to absorb damage while providing cc.

That is what tanks are. You basically said, its not the tankiness of th champ, its the tankiness of the champ.

That is the definition of tanks--their ability to absorb damage and often provide cc.

typically the definition of a tank is a slow-moving, hard to defeat monstrosity that can do a lot of damage to you (think tanks on the battlefield or people wearing heavy armor and heavy weapons...)

"Tanky team" will most likely have at least two, rarely one heavy damage dealers(adc and mid). I've never met actual full-tank team in soloQ, those teams are most often more or less balanced teams.

Now, when you take something like Caitlyn Sona Rengar Ahri Kayle , your team actually is full squishy. That's bad, but soloQ people like to play snowball champs, so team with 2 tanks often looks like "full tank team" when it actually isn't.
