I love how Riven's rework is being handled so delicately ...

... But I just wish the same courtesy was used with Cassiopeia's rework. It honestly just amazes me how much Riot plays favorites and even amazes me more how little they attempt to cover the fact they clearly favorite popular champions (Riven, Lee Sin) over lesser champions that still have dedicated fan bases (Cassiopeia, Mordekaiser). I just love how all of our feedback regarding this pathetic excuse for a rework was ignored and what we were givenwas a handful of fresh horse feces and told that this was a better and more improved version of Cassiopeia.

I just personally can't fathom why Riot is so reluctant to simply come forth and admit to their mistakes on arguably the 2 worst and poorly handled reworks throughout the game. Cassiopeia's rework was handled by a clown new to his job that hilariously never played, or rarely and I mean RARELY played Cassiopeia before reworking and I don't even want to begin on the dinkus that handled Mordekaiser and turned him into an abomination that has caused me to dodge every game, including ranked games, where he is picked on either team. Both champions were turned into horrific shadows of their former self and only left their playerbases that loved these champions disappointed and infuriated.

The point I'm trying to make is that Riot themselves have hilariously obvious God - Complexes, I've been going over every thread and every post regarding Cassiopeia's rework and Stashu and I couldn't find ONE POST by him admitting that he simply rushed the rework and was going to try to fix it to the best of his ability. He simply continued to ignore feedback and focus more on that pathetic excuse for a passive.

I don't even know what to say anymore regarding this company since I'm most likely going to be quitting eventually but I just had to vent on this because it's truly pathetic. Riot doesn't give a damn about the playerbase unless the playerbase mains some of their E$ports children and yes I'm looking at you Riven LeeSin Vayne Thresh Zed. These are literally the only champions in this game that are handled with care, whose playerbases are listened to and reasoned with, and why?

Yeah, basically. They said they would revert any rework if enough people were upset about it, yet Cassiopeia wasn't reverted and Mordekaiser wasn't either.

Riven wasn't actually slated for a rework, the changes were an experiment, it's not the same thing. None the less Morde and Cass players have it hard, and I do think what happened to their champions was wrong.

Of course they play favorites with more popular champions; they're more popular. Riot isn't going to play fast and loose with one of the most popular champions they've ever created and they would be stupid to do so.

Rito doesn't want thousands of Weeaboo's storming their HQ

Unfortunately, that courtesy is reserved for flashy and popular champions like Lee and Riven. If you are a Cass, Mordekaiser or Karma player, tough luck - your unflashy champion which doesn't sell skins is going to get shafted.

I don't really think Riot really listens/looks at G&B anymore(if they ever did) because honestly this place is just a cesspool of the same old "omg nerf riven/zed/vayne/thresh/leesin" circlejerkers. It's hard to take anything here seriously honestly, all you guys do is rant and rave about the same things. Riot probably has better things to do then read the unoriginal copy&pasted garbage posted here day to day.

Like, holy shit, some people in comments are literally saying SION'S rework was a mistake. That's just... yeah.

When you guys complain about the riven changes you've gotta understand a couple of things. First off, they were a BUFF. Yes, you read that correctly; a BUFF. It would have given her a lot more power that's a lot easier to execute, which would have probably lead to a lot of people playing riven. Second, they were EXPERIMENTAL. It was never official. Riot just decided to try some new stuff out, but once they realized that it was a BUFF they decided to revert it.

I'm certain this will be buried under the mass of the circlejerking, brainwashed G&B users but w/e.

Stop it. Posts like this are why we can't have nice things. Riot's going out of their way to handle a new rework with care after controversy over previous reworks, and what do we do? Shame them for what they've done before instead of praising them for doing what we've been asking for this whole time.

And what's your excuse? Oh, you don't like Riven, Vayne, or Lee Sin? Tough luck, they have massive playerbases and are healthy for the game. They're here to stay.

Take this somewhere else and let the rest of us be happy they're not hamfisting this rework like they have previous ones.

I don't get the point of this post

You're operating on the pretense that Cassiopeia rework failed, when in reality she's fine right now and she was just never a popular champion to begin with except to script with.

There are so many facets to balance and its clear you haven't accounted for even close to all of them.

Ex. Strength in LoL is determined MASSIVELY by items (Building a BT alone is like almost 100% bonus AD to a champion's base stats), so to a certain extent Champions are basically just channels through which to apply the stats granted by items. Given this fact, it's safe to assume no matter what Riven and Cass are tuned to, Riven will always be the more favored solo queue pick because she's more mobile meaning in the case that you do get ahead on Riven, she's more likely than Cassiopeia to make an impact on the game because she can cover more of the map and stay safer overall. However this doesn't imply that Cassiopeia is weak, because Cass has more than enough tools in her kit to impact the game through different means, e.g. a good ult will completely destroy Riven.

What's worse is realizing you main one of the champs that don't see much or any E$ports usage and hasn't been touched in ages. You know it's coming. You don't know when or how it will take place, but eventually they will be coming for you O_o
