So got in an argument with the enemy about the current state of Talon.
My argument was in defense of talon was as follows.
-Crystaline flask was removed and that severely hurt his lane sustain and harmed him unlike other Assassins that do not have to worry about attrition.
-HIs main build path was nerfed with
giving less crit chance and less AD along with
passive removed and the crit taken off of
and armor pen only hitting bonus armor instead of total.
-Mana pots being removed means he can no longer grab one or 2 to keep his mana pool decent(this can also be part of the first point)
The enemy's argument went as such.
-Talon's burst is still intact so he's fine (I can agree that he is a bursty mofo)
-Talon's a pretty safe Assassin(I honestly cannot see this, if the enemy so much as get's a
You're pretty much done.)
-Talon's build path wasn't nerfed(I point you to my argument)
-Talon's burst is too quick (Same could be said about katarina honestly, but she's perfectly fine right now)
Honestly I'm probably biased because I really enjoy playing Talon, and I do agree with one of the points the enemy made, that his burst is intact. But Talon now suffers from an even crappier lane phase than he did before. Talon is currently sitting on an even 50% win rate so not much can honestly be done without putting him over the edge or gutting him. But if you look at his pick rate it means that only a select few people play him and those that do are pretty good with him, or at least consistent. Honestly as it currently stands Talon feels lackluster and almost out of place when you compare him to other assassins.
and I could burst anyone down. But I do agree with you in saying that Talon's lane is atrocious now and can't even counter lanes that were considered his. Riot is NOT going to even touch Talon, since he is very gimped by his one shot potential, so until his upcoming rework goes live, he is not going to be touched.
