What is with Rune prices?!

I thought you guys were making it more simple and reducing the cost, why the hell is a glyph of CDR 810 IP...like wtf does that accomplish...i can understand making dual stat runes twice as expensive, but why in the hell is cdr 4x as expensive? i don't even want the cdr rune honestly, what i do want is AP glyphs, which give the most AP per rune, same as how AD marks are the best to go AD on, however AD marks are not 410 each, they're ~200, so why is an ap glyph 410 IP? what does actually do for the game other than keep new players down longer?

If you have to grind for months just for enough runes to be competitive, then you'll be more likely to buy champions with RP and/or IP boosts.

yeah..that's what i'm getting from this. really sucks that you aren't given the tools to be competitive in this game without spending a ton of money or waiting a really really long time to get started

Only tier 1 & 2 runes were reduced in price, not tier 3.

oh cool, so they lower the price of the runes no one uses that already were cheap enough to buy a few after each game without a boost anyway. good to know. thanks rito.
