Why are we penalized so hard for duoing in ranked?

Like isn't the point of this game to play with friends?

I can play all day going in alone and maintain a good winrate, but the second I duo with someone it's an absolute slaughter, our opponents whether they're even with us or losing, doesn't matter, our 3 teammates are guaranteed losing 0-10 each by 15 minutes,

why do you select people with such a lower MMR rating and call that balance? I've never felt worse about playing with my friends in a game than I do in league of legends, you really missed the mark with this

They should simply remove duo from soloque and then Flex queue times will be healthier too.

What is the point of having a team-queue and a solo-but-not-really-queue

Duos can never feel well balanced in soloque because the synergy between duos varies extremely. But I stand with riot that if Duos go into soloque they should be matched in harder games

you're crying to the wrong community, the boards is filled with people that have no friends to play with so they all want duo-queue removed from the game because they are jealous, This place is a circle jerk of duo hating people, they will feel no sympathy for you

I,as a top laner from the other hand had to suffer vs TOp + jungler premades many games,causing me to get camped game after game and lose.Aside the duos,matchmaking is horrible.

whenever i get a duo queue on my team my enemy team also has duo or trio queues with better skill / teamwork so i often consider dodging if the duos are bad

I think the system needs to be reevaluated for lower ELOs, two silvers playing together are still gonna get rolled by a team of golds, these aren't high-skill players that are using coordinated tactics, they are just dumb friends trying to play meaningful games together.

I also think that a lot of the bitching about super lopsided low ELO games is because of duo queue balancing fucking everyone up. I'm silver, if I'm solo and my bot lane is a silver duo, I'm, not holding my breath for them to carry, and especially not when the deck is stacked against us with golds. Honestly you are much better off playing solo if you are trying to climb out of elo hell, my solo win rate is like 30% higher than with my friend who is the same elo as me. Shit's whack.

Duoing is rampantly abused by people who pay for boosts.

I'm glad that duos are put in tough matchmaking situations. You should have to play by yourself if you want to climb. No duoing with a smurf easy way out.

Are you able to carry your elo solo? No? Then you shouldnt rank up. Are you able to carry with a duo? Then you rely on your team mate to do something like not int. It sucks, and I hate it too, but thats how ranked is. Duoing is only in ranked because of Elo Boosters for pro players to make money.

I don't intend to be mean but... it's Solo Queue. People trying to climb by their own merits alone. To play with friends there's Flex Queue. I really hope Duo Queue gets removed entirely someday. My two cents.

Don't expect ranked to be based on skills, it's just random based on factors you'll never know... So whether you win or lose just accept that it has nothing to do with you, it's been decided by riot... Just like if you played any other luck based game
