Lee Sin Rework

Yes this is another thread. No I'm not sure if anything will come of it. We know that he needs a rework. We know why he does. Question is how?

Something both the players and Riot agree on is that mobility is iconic on him. That's fine. All we need to do is address his damage, cc, survivability, and energy.

Lee Sin is a fighter/assassin. This would make you think he has more offense than defense like Fiora. Instead, people build him like a bruiser, though I think that's more out of getting away with it than preference. Do people wish for him to be a bruiser or an assassin? That will determine how much defense he should have.

As for energy, I know people hate manaless champions. However, I think Riot just needs to add more costs for the advantages they have. Energy users are one of the main problems. Personally, sort of like Shen, I feel that Lee should have heavier costs to reflect his fighter combo play style. Either that or lower his damage for low cost or cd to encourage him to engage and trade with others. Other than that, I have this crazy idea of making energy regen function on how much movement or attack speed he has. Still would have to lower his damage.

Mana could easily be a buff to lee sin... Slightly higher energy costs increasing his abilities costs by 10 might work for him.

Current: After using an ability, Lee Sin's next 2 basic attacks within 3 seconds gain 40% attack speed and return 15 energy each.

Idea: Limit his energy return to only against monsters. Against champions Tempest/Cripple returns a large portion of Lee Sin' energy.

I genuinely think that cutting away at his kit is the wrong direction. If you want to limit his kit, then you need to make it more situational.

Lower his damage but raise his sustain against monsters in the jungle. Lower his sustain but raise his damage against champions.

Just an idea of course.
