That's one idea that spontaneously went through my head...

People don’t like it when they walk through millions of shrooms. Also trying to sweep the map of those little bastards is like trying to count a spilled bag of beans because there’s just too many of them to miss around every corner. If Teemo can only place down so many it will be more impactful to sweep one. In addition to that you can estimate their position better. If Teemo can only put down a few shrooms their position has to actually matter so you can expect them on more key positions instead of just “everywhere”.

That’s more or less my idea… How about instead of Teemo putting down a lot of little shrooms he puts down fewer shrooms but they are bigger and more influential. Less quantity and more quality so to speak.

He can’t put out as many but every shroom he does put out is significant. Imagine it like a big shroom that is worth 2 shrooms in a way. They are bigger and therefore likelier of being stepped on, especially on key passages where enemies could usually avoid them by hugging walls. That way they are also better at covering specific areas. To complement that their vision radius is also increased so a Teemo-player may even want to place them at positions where you WOULDN’T want them to be stepped on just so they can act as a vision-tool. More options so-to-speak. When an enemy steps on a big shroom it will not explode but actually extract some spores, dealing 25% more damage than a regular smaller shroom around. After that the shroom will ‘shrink’ and after another 3 second arming time become a regular “small shroom” (like the ones he has right now) that will last for the rest of the remaining duration the big one had so it’s more or less a recycle. That area is still covered like before but the enemy will know about it from stepping on the big one. Once again: To promote more focus on specific areas. Shrooms last up to 10 minutes but after 7 minutes a big shroom will shrink automatically to become a small one. Sweeping a big shrooms also gives 10 more gold. Teemo can only have 15 shrooms on the map at once. When he places down a big shroom that is too close to the vision radius of another big shroom, it will shrink automatically and last for only 5 minutes. Also shrooms can no longer be destroyed during their arming-time. Their mana and cooldown is also increased.

Teemo is built on having vison and map control right now his issue is he cant have enough shrooms out on the map also no one wants to get one shot by a shroom if a teemo gets fed cause that's just too evil
