Her burst and snowballing is insane. She's easiest assassin now. Will she get nerfs?
Keep minusing me =D Same happens with Lee - I always was saying that he needs nerfs. But everybody was: He's most balanced champion ever! And then he get huge bunch of nerfs and still one of top picks in Season 4 Worlds. When Kata will come into meta (she was on this Worlds already, and won game easy vs TF - mage with cc) she will defently get her nerfs.

Your dash stops her ult. Your ult stops her ult. Hell your soldiers let you kill her from miles away before she can touch you late game.

Mikal Pikal2 votesI love katarina, don't get me wrong, and she is strong with great snowball potential. However, she is worse the better players she is up against. If she shunpo's into the enemy team and kills no one, then she will be erased. ANY cc stops her ult. I do well with her, but since I know her so well I can almost always crush her in lane with a ranged mage with at least one cc.

How are you not noobs if you let Kat get a full ulti off and snowball when you have 2 tanks that stop her?

But the others don't have to pop right into the middle of the enemy team to ult. When Kat hops into the middle of our team, I stun her, and she dies and cries.

Gotta go with those on Kat's defense here. Her biggest weapon is also her single biggest weakness. If you blow all cc on another champion while you KNOW that she's tearing you apart then you really are noobs. One knockup / knockback, stun or silence is enough to completely negate her ult and then she's without an ult in the middle of your team. I played against a team yesterday that had 9 total abilities that could stop Katarina's ult and all it takes is one.
You say a Diamond 1 can kill a whole team but not a Katarina with Azir, perhaps it's Azir that needs nerfs then. He can stop her ult with his ult or escape with soldiers. Not every game is about how many of the other team you can kill alone..

Marthian1 votesshe's not very good in the current meta. Yes she can do a ton of damage, but almost every competent team composition with a good amount of CC shuts her down.
Misdirect1 votesIs this real? A Kat that is able to dodge Azirs soldiers with her combo multiple times early game enough to win the lane deserves to win, or you shouldn't be playing him.
