Dear Riot, ADC are not front line fighters.

I know you don't understand the word balance, but let me help you out. When a class of champion meant to be on the backline is 1v1 front line fighters with ease that is what we call broken. The reason ADC have supports is because they need a front line. The fact that ADC are now in top lane, mid, jungle, and even supp, you need to release some shit isn't fucking right. A dead dog would realize something isn't right. Front line fighters are supposed to deal huge levels of damage to make up for the distance gap and needing to get past the front line. ADC should not be melting people in 1v1s. It's a very simple concept, but if you need a picture I can draw you one.

I don't know why you're getting so many downvotes. I certainly agree that ADCs aren't supposed to 1v1 people so easily, there's a reason adcs have a support to babysit them, to make up for their vulnerability. (okay that's not the only reason, but it's partly because of that) ADCs are supposed to dish out damage from the backline while being protected by their frontliners and their supports. They shouldn't be one-man armies by themselves.

Even at their weakest, the adc role was always required to make a balanced team, proof that they don't need to be so prevalent to work properly and find their way into the game. In their current state, the meta is pigeon-holed into building a comp around the adc. When looking at worlds this year, the champion pool has never been so small.

ADC = Attack Damage Carry

If they are not doing damage what are they supposed to do?

Also building armor items helps vs adcs. If you choose to build glass-cannon yourself, you gotta deal with getting oneshot
