I'm Gold 5, stop matching me with Diamonds and Masters

I have no idea how Riot organizes normal games, but lately I have been getting a string of diamond or higher players on both my team and the enemy team. Often in one of my matches, there could be players ranging from Silver to Diamond (once or twice I even had Masters and Challengers).

Needless to say, the matches were often one sided. Whoever has the higher ELO players almost wins every time.

It isn't always a stomp; the high Platinum and Diamond players can't really make any plays since there are at best 1 or 2 other players of their ELO on the team. I have been fighting these high ELO players for a while now, so at least I rarely lose lane to them. But God forbid if the enemy team has a diamond jungler while our jungler is still Silver and getting executed by Raptors. The game essentially because a 4 v 5.

My normal MMR isn't that high, I checked my matches on NA.OP.GG and they are normally around 1500~1700.

I should not be matched with these players. Please Rito, just put players of the same ELO together.

Their normal mmr is as shitty as yours. Only way to avoid them is to become worse in normals

MMR is not shared between different queue types, so someone who is Diamond in Ranked may have Silver equivalent MMR in Normals. You have the same chance to have them on your own team as the enemy does (unless you are in a premade).

Normal MMR is different. That just means that your normal MMR is high enough (or theirs is low enough) that you're getting matched against those players.
