What if I told you Yasuo did not actually get buffed as much as the masteries suggest?
No seriously. The only real buff Yasuo received this patch is that his power spike hits sooner now.
The AS on critical strike was originally part of the old masteries as well, so Yasuo only got 5% more AS than he did before. The heal on critical strike has a cool down of 2 seconds. However, due to general AD nerfs on IE and BT, Yasuo does not benefit as much as the percentages suggest.
Because Yasuo lost 20 AD from items, assuming he autos 3 times in the 2 seconds, at a 2.4 crit multiplier with .2 LF, he also loses ~29 health per 2 seconds from the decreased damage.
With the keystone mastery at full build, Yasuo with
would only heal an additional ~45 health every 2 seconds on top of his original life steal assuming he also took AD runes and the enemy has zero armor.
So what? Yasuo gains less than 16 more health every 2 seconds? That can be hardly called a buff.
Trying to get Yasuo nerfed is the wrong way to go about this. The root of the issue is that the new ADC items are a boon to Yasuo's early game, and the champions who were able to abuse Yasuo's early game were predominately AP, which were of course nerfed this patch. The ones remaining are either ADCs, whom Yasuo counters, or Assassins (50-50 match up, although most assassins generally beats Yasuo).
Instead, tell Riot to actually buff the AP itemization and champions that were shafted this patch. Ask for AP versions of items that are just as strong as the AD ones on live and Yasuo would not be so problematic to deal with anymore.
Edit: Fixed some grammar mistakes and clarified some things.
