"But it coolsdown twice as fast when not hunting enemy champions"

So basically it has normal cooldown for something so exponentially powerful. Gank then double cooldown since you'll be in jungle anyway. Not hunting enemy champions.

Uh, you automatically hunt when someone drops below 50 percent hp.

Primal howl has to be active. I'm watching the thing right now

If anyone goes below 50%, you hunt them. Basically your team needs to plan their attacks around your cooldowns.

So if that person is bot lane and you're top lane you're stuck. Doesn't seem like that's good programming.

Means that you and your team have to coordinate damage to keep your cooldown accelerated.

I dunno I just find that to be a little more difficult in actual performance than in theory. So many things could set this off, including enemy jungler getting his ass handed to him by a dragon, a failed dive that results in turret damage, a support tanking a wave of minions. I expect there will be a rework on that aspect alone in the future.

I think they changed it so that his team has to have vision of the enemy when they drop below half health. But maybe I'm wrong.

Ive no idea but apparently it goes off passively and can also be active manually if they are near you. Seems weird he can do both. I had a WW activate it on me when I was 100% health so he could chase me down

Well yeah, that's the point of the active. It gives you a window of time to hunt your enemy even when they're high on health.

No, no need for vision on them. He gets happy when someone drops and he gets a blood trail right to them.
