You deserve a permaban if you first time champions in ranked.

^^title.

2 people in my silver 2 game literally had 600 mastery points and fed their fucking ass off until the score was 45-9. This is fucking insane and they deserve a ban. Why is this allowed???

I mean it is actually the only place to get a real test of the champion. Even though ranked is not a perfect place to test your skill it is the highest form we have that is taken the most seriously. Most of my normal games are so lopsided that I do not get a good test of how the champion works. It would probably take me 3-4 times as many normal games to understand a champion than ranked games. If normal had a better system for team balance than maybe I could see this being an option, but it takes far too many normal games to get comfortable with a champion than it does ranked games. Also 1 game is not enough to necessarily understand a champion so how do you quantify when someone is ready to play a champion in ranked?

Firsttiming a champ in ranked shouldn't be a bannable offense.

For all the people downvoting, tell me why it is a good idea to first time champions in ranked.

You MIGHT get lucky and learn the champion within 2 minutes, most likely not.

99.9% of the time all you do is feed.

People play hundred of games and are still in silver.

Doewnt matter how many mastery points they got, 5000 or a million.

Bad is bad.

Also most champions are very simple to play and doesnt really require many games, even if you first time a champion youd likely get the hang of them within the game.

You just need to know the build path and farm up.

Also the player could be a smurf and every game would be a 'first game' with a champ depending of they switch champs a lot to climb.

There are a lot of nuances to 'first picked champions' to claim we should permaban players for first time picks.

Yea there's literally no quality control in this game <_<

I wouldn't mind a higher level requirement for ranked too.. level 30-60 players offer absolutely nothing.

Some of my friends back in the day that were hardstuck silver had 4k+ norm games..

ok... what does that even matter? the quality is literally that the bad players are at the bottom of the rank ladder and the good ones are up. You can put the lvl requirement to join rank be 900 and nothing would change about ranked. The bottom players of the ladder would be complete jokes when you compare them to the people at the high end of it

I'd take a first timer over someone that has 4k normals and is hardstuck silver.

Your point is exactly that no matter how much you play you can still be bad at the game.

"Don't play the game unless you one trick something and if that gets banned then you'll get banned." No shut up, that's a terrible idea.. banning first timers. By the way, 90% of the time people aren't even "first" timing.

You deserve a permaban for pushing players who are trying to play the game seriously into a queue with player who want to play the game causally.

If they had 600 mastery points, doesn't that mean it wasn't their first time though?

Also, it doesn't tell you much if they played the champ on a different account.
