So, what buffs could we give to Sion?

I've had lots of ideas personally for every one of his abilities to be buffed (and some nerfed), but I'd like to know what you guys think Riot could do to make him a more viable pick.

Watch a got?!Sion

Edit: I meant more along the lines of what we could foot give him more utility, because we could obviously give him higher base stats, scaling and values. Like an increasing slow on q or non scaling slow on e or something.

make it so he's immune to disables during his passive. it feels like if he gets slowed even a little he'll never catch anyone

Actually, i think as long as sion is attacking (champions) he should be capable of living "forever". Compensate by giving reduced gold for kills while dead.

I know a lot of people would like to see him gain tenacity during his passive, but that's an inelegant solution, at least to me. It implies that the rest of his kit is fine, which just isn't true. He got some nerfs that were fair (the E nerfs; he's not supposed to be a poke machine) and some nerfs that weren't (increased timer on shield detonation). But seriously, just give the man some DAMAGE. Let him hurt people, or he's just going to keep counting on his passive to kill people.

Thing is, giving him more damage would have to be in his q, which most people think is fine as-is. His w couldn't get more damage, because like stonewall said "damage shields are inherently broken", and we know the poke machine Sion from last year. So damage isn't really what he needs. I honestly think he just needs more reliable utility.

Making his W more reliable would be kinda kewl

Sion actually lost something like 500base HP in the rework.

Indeed. It's part of a lazy design paradigm where champs who have means of stat gain other than natural growth are intentionally shorted at base level. Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me, but Sion is squishier than a tank should be, and with shorter games this season it's only gotten worse.

Yeaaaah.... "Im good at running!" "So you are. turns to other person Get the saw!" "The... saw?" "Yes of course, you have an advantage. If you want to keep it, you must be made lesser in that area" "What." "Mumbai! Where is the saw!"

His W is absolutely atrocious right now.

Higher base armor.

Lower his mana costs.

IMPROVE HIS ULT ACROSS THE BOARD.... it is one of the worst ultimates in the game... imagine if Rengar's "FOCUS" was heard across the map and restricted his movement rather than increased it...

Making his passive more impactful would be my first choice, maybe make his auto attacks during his passive deal damage based on a % of his max health, and give him a few more abilities to use aside from just the speed boost, so rather than just someone who gets kited until his health runs out he could be a legitimate threat between getting dropped and his passive running out
