IN YEARS.

I especially have been maining Xerath as a support this preseason and roflstomping enemy teams even when I do poorly.

I have more than enough fire range and fire power to rain down DPS on people from far away, I always have wards with the support items and I am constantly warding and sniping people. Add in a second buy Rylai's after Luden's, then into Lyandri's or Void Staff depending on game direction, and you stay viable and affect outcomes much better than other champs I've personally played.

I'm also currently trying out Syndra, and have plans to add Ziggs and Swain to my list. Been so fun.

I climbed out of bronze playing tanky utility support champs like Braun tahm and Thresh.

Once it clicks its very easy to win there. Its amazing how much free damage they'll give you. They are so focused on last hitting you just attack them freely. Then they will just run away... Or die.

I enjoy utility supporting, it's more my personality. Sometimes id run Volibear for fun. Not so much in Silver. Players there use their cc

I just can't trust me team to follow up like ever, so I try to get hard hitting carry mage with some cc. I find people are more confident to commit when they see enemy HP bars dropping before they even start hitting them, vs my Leona games where I could land every stun and don't do damage, the enemy ignores me, and my team doesn't follow up.

Mage supports are great in solo queue, even if your ADC is a monkey tripping balls on mixed drugs, you can still be some use to your team.

Ziggs/Swain also make great ADC replacements, and Karthus can be a support or APC with good results.

Agreed. My skill shot game has improved too. You have to be sparing with your mana and make sure you hit all the abilities you can.

What's the consensus on Syndra Support? I am not seeing any guides for it.
