I suppose nobody played this game during pre-nerf eve after her first rework Previously her ult range was 800 and her stealth radius was 700, which means she could ult from nowhere without you being able to know it and shield yourself/heal/doing anything before the damage

so they nerfed the range to 600 while her stealth radius is 700, and now you can see eve just before she ult

so why am i talking about this?

stealth radius is 400 AA range is 550 Ult range is 830 or something

where is the counterplay when a rat appears from nowhere and nukes you or your entire team?

Twitch has a higher win rate than Ahri atm with 15% pick rate, if ahri is being nerfed this champ should not be ignored

His stealth radius should be at least increased to 575 to give time to react to him if isn't under ult

Not going to lie, I never thought of the inconsistency. Change the radius to match auto range seems like a reasonable effect, and in the event that it hurts him too much a small buff wouldn't be a bad cover up so that he still keeps some counterplay.

twitch is camouflage, so** controllwards DO REVEAL HIM**. His stealth actually is worse than it was befor the vision change, because now even champs can see him if they get clsoe enough while the wards still work.

There's actually more counter-play than before unless someone has complete invisibility like Vayne, but that's very short in comparison to camouflage.

While I agree increasing the stealth range would help, it still doesn't really solve the problem. He's still going to come out of stealth and AA you outside of his stealth range with his ult and any change that would fix that would be excessive and destroy him.

Maybe a solution to this would be to increase his stealth range as you suggest and make him unable to R during stealth and stealth during R. You'd probably need some other buffs alongside this since it's a very significant nerf, but I'd be OK with some other shifts in power to go along with that.

I'd be down for this change. The reason Twitch is so strong right now is that he can ult from well outside your ability to see him through his stealth and just completely obliterate your entire team by the time you can react.

They should add sewers to summoners rift that he can use to travel and just remove the stealth. Also let some sandwiches and cheese spawn at random locations that he needs to collect.

the logic IS THE EXACT SAME, if twitch appears from nowhere you will have almost no time to react to his burst

it's the exact same logic because eve used to use ult from 800 range and nuke your hp before you reacted

This is the real issue. Why does a range dps champ with potential highranged aoe dps acces to burst? Imo Twitch's damage should be shifted from AAs with multiple steroids onto his passive and E, give him more backloaded damage rather than frontloaded. That's an issue with adc and their items in general, but paired with the range and stealth on twitch it just gets worse.

Twitch doesn't actually have a giant nuke that he can frontload, most of his burst is from popping his E, Contaminate when a bunch of people have 6 stacks of his passive, which are applied by his W (1/sec) and his basic attacks. So you already have time to react. Is he a bit strong right now, probably? Is he in need of the same treatment as Evelynn, not likely, he doesn't have the same problem to address. His issues probably have more to do with how good his base AS and AS per level gains are (0.679 base, +57.5% at level 18).

Also he has to be really far ahead (or at full build) to pull off kills and doesn't start teamfights.

Tbh, i don't think that will change that much. Eve still can easily hit a single target with her ult without any real reaction time, though it's harder to land a multi man ult out of nowhere. Twitch rarly wants to catch more than one target, and if he does, he uses ult and has high range anyway. So the radius increase would need to be somethig like 650, which would probably hurt the overall stealth massively as it would be really hard to get pst the frontline, which is what stealth supposed to do. I think the main issue with twitch is how much steroids he has given how insane that range+prceing shots from ult already is and how much potential that stealth grants. If he wouldn't kill you as fast from out of stealth, you also would have more time to react to it.

the point of stealth isn't to get past the frontline, twitch himself shouldn't pass through the frontline easily

the point of stealth is to escape (and twitch uses that to escape easily with 400 radius stealth) and gank someone/surprises them

twitch in no way should pass through the frontline, "but he's an assassin", no he's a primary marksmen with the job of a marksmen, he should be an assassin in some cases but not everytime
