MAKE YOU REALIZE SOMETHING?

RYZE HAS BEEN IN THE SHITTER FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

EVERYONE IS GETTING BUFFS OR SOMETHING TO MAKE THEM FEEL BETTER.

Its fucking sickening, it really is.

Ryze has been one of the worse champions in solo queue for months/years now.

The only time he has spiked was when Seraphs was strong before the nerf.

After that nerf he went right back into the ground, then you compiled more nerfs to him, because fuck the pro scene.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT HIS AWFUL LANING. AT THE VERY LEAST.

60 mana per cast of his most important spell early game. At rank 1.

Lets do some thinking here.

Its his spell to harass/waveclear.

It takes 2 rotations of spells w/ a dorans ring to clear the minions.

so at rank 1, at level 2. To do what Lux does with one E and 6 autos.

Ryze has to expend 320 mana. Vs lux's 80?

Lets go best case, and you take 3 minions super low, and E proc the next Three. That is still 100 mana vs 80.

Please for the love of FUCKING GOD. MAKE THIS CHAMPION PLAYABLE TO SOME DEGREE.

MAYBE IF YOU WANT TO FIX THIS GOD FORSAKEN CHAMPION START WITH THE JUNGLE AFTER MAKING HIS E 40 MANA COST.

JUNGLE MAKES HIM VERY STRONG. BECAUSE OF 1.5 Second SNARE.

YOU GUYS LEGIT DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ABOUT THESE CHAMPIONS YOU CHANGE. SO STOP. ASK AROUND. STOP LEAVING SHIT IN THE SHITTER AND USING THE EXCUSE. "We spent too much time on this champion." because our retort to that is "Well stop fucking it up, and maybe listen to player input. Like when I said that Malzahar's New Passive was too strong. But again, I guess a since release Malz player wouldn't know shit about him.

P.S. Stop adding mobility to this game, and removing/reducing point click CC. Akali, Irelia, Slyas, Aatrox. Only way to deal with Akali and Irelia, is CC. Either Massive AoE CC or Point and Click. Reasons why Irelia and Akali have a 40ish% win rate against Malz. because Point and click is their only real weakness when they are being piloted by a good player.

Hey shithead. Ryze is fine. He just takes skill to play. He's annoying as fuck and it's one of the most boring champs in the game to play and watch. IF they do anything to him, it should be clicking delete.

Ryze is fine?

Have you played him in any games where everyone is playing macro well with good mechanics? He can't ever fight if an Irelia is in those fights, he can't fight if they have an abyssal mask, he can't fight if they out range him, he can't do shit. He is too reliant on everyone else on your team doing things correctly for him.

In the pro scene, I have seen games where a team takes Ryze and has 9k damage in a 50 minute game and 15k damage in a 61 minute game. That is the pro scene, the only reason he was picked? Was for his Ulti. Which pros are quickly coming to realize isn't worth it, if you are missing out on a damage source.

When he had his 100 E scaling on Q, he was fine. Honestly overpowered.

But after, gutting his E.

E changes are.

40 mana > 60 mana (At rank one, scaling up to 100 mana for both of them) Reduced damage on spread by 50%. CD increased from 2.25 > 3.5 -- >>> scaling down to [1 > 1.25] -- can't remember the back end of this

Q Changes (generalized)

Shield lowered. movespeed lowered. damage lowered.

W changes.

Enpowered Snare down from 2 seconds to 1.5 Base Snare down from 1 second to .75 seconds.

R changes.

1500>3000 > 1750> 3250 (Which no one is solo queue cared for ever.)

Then they changed seraphs, which made him strong again.

Then they nerfed seraphs which shit all over him.

He's meant to be awful, until they figure out a way to actually fix him. He's in the same boat as Azir and Kali, although Kali is getting her chance with the newest patch after what, almost a year?

OP worded it rather poorly, but the point stands. Ryze is the epitome of the issue also present with Galio, Kalista, Sejuani, and Ornn, because similar to them he has a tool that's far more powerful in ultra-coordinated professional. But he is the most problematic because he has, bar none, the strongest tool. Even among all the champions who work far better in pro play, his ultimate reigns supreme. And as a result he isn't allowed to have much individual strength.

For the others, yes. But... not for Ryze. It may have become a meme that Ryze gets semi-annual reworks, but they don't actually want to once again devote labor into reworking a champ who isn't popular for sales anyway. And he'd need a whole new ultimate due to its nature, not just a number adjustment like was possible for the others.

Sej and Ornn, were never trashed, they just sat towards the lower end of the power spectrum. Ryze unlike the other 2 (Kali/Azir) at least continued to see pro play.

Oh, I see the confusion. I was referring to, "until they can come up with a better solution." What I meant was they won't be able to come up with a better solution to Ryze until they admit his ultimate needs to be changed.

The rest were fine to be a little week specifically because it was possible to give them changes, unlike Ryze.

Well, we're on what Ryze's 3rd or 4th different ult lol, the problem with Ryze is a fundamental problem that he scales on Mana and AP and is a DPS Nuke Mage.

Azir and Kali are actually both similar in that their kits just can't be truly balanced, their doomed to be gods or shitters.

GP has insane early costs as well? His Late Game used to be insane, so his early got nerfed. Ryze is the same, but also almost always broken in Pro Play when he isn't nerfed to a certain degree.

GP has decreasing mana costs on his main ability whereas Ryze's main ability (E) has increasing mana costs that equal nearly double GPs Q at rank 5. Additionally, GP has one ability that costs no mana, another ability that is entirely situational to get out of CC or heal if you're greedy, and his ult that is also kind of situational. There is no point in comparing Ryze who has to constantly use his spells vs GP that Q's every once in a while
