So i just lost one of my promo matches because a riven was fed and the enemy team had a rammus who could dive me. didn't bother me at all considering i almost won the match. Then i go to look at the stats of everyone.

why the hell did riven out damage and OUT TANK the damage dealers and tanks with nothing but damage items. :|

She probably took more poke damage and more turret damage than the others.

Also Riven probably had more resistances than Thresh, based on those builds.

Unlike Lee Sin and many other shielding champions, Riven's shield scales with her AD.

Rammus mitigated 168 percent as much damage as he took, while Riven mitigated 172 percent as much as she took.

Meanwhile, Thresh is sitting at 102 percent, Shen is sitting at 138 percent, and everyone else was below 100 percent.

Take the damage mitigated stat, and divide it by the damage taken. Now times the resulting number by 100 and you have the percentage number I gave you. Use it when trying to determine how efficient a tank was being with their build, rather than just looking at a damage taken stat only.

A Riven will generally not get that kind of damage mitigation percentage by only buying critical strike items as an example. And when I have an annoying support ally that doesn't help me but I'm playing bottom, I often build relatively defensive items like this so that I can stay alive and do my job.
