It's a champ with a skillcap, people will feed. Not just on this champ, but any champ that has a skillcap. You can't be experienced without experiencing failures and mistakes.

bru did you play last year? did you see the statistics? I think nearly everyone if not everyone had the "Champion most killed, yasuo " Yasuo is a special case. LeeSin is also skill based and never got to this point and he's been around longer.

I had for most killed was Riven. 399 kills, one shy of the glory of 400. It's just metas and concepts that people tend to overlook that ends up giving Yas the short end of the stick in terms of not feeding. I tend to die less on him now compared to last year, and that's in part with dealing with the current meta and new rune system. Conqueror might be the one keystone I might look at for him over PTA, since even though Q can apply it, it takes a while to stack, but then it wears off after 6 seconds and you'll have to restack it all over again.

No, the reason he dies so much is that the majority of his playerbase is formed by children without patience who just wanna get a penta smashing the keyboard, that tilt easily and that prefer to try 1 vs 5 10 times in a row rather than teamfight.

In the end, people in low ELO still say he needs nerfs when the simple solution is make the champ not run on crit. I recall Fervor being a reason why they had to make the ult buff for crits only (and AS runes giving him Q faster than what we have now, making his early very deadly). I fear with Conqueror coming in, people like you describe will most likely pick him back up again since the 20% true damage mod is very tempting. (I certainly might, but still waiting on them to make him less crit reliant, if not, then i'll just deal with it)

You're completely wrong. The reason of nerf as to why Yasuo could only make use of the penetration on critical strikes was because of the Frozen Force build which the player ArKaDaTa came up with.

#In patch 6.18

Yasuo was hit with nerfs that resulted in the elimination of the Frozen Force build.

I fear with Conqueror coming in, people like you describe will most likely pick him back up again since the 20% true damage mod is very tempting. (I certainly might, but still waiting on them to make him less crit reliant, if not, then i'll just deal with it)

#The conqueror does not fit into any of the play styles of Yasuo

What Yasuo needs is Fleet footwork rune or Press the Attack rune.

FLEET FOOTWORK rune - Used especially for better survivability against tough match ups or against a team with heavy CC abilities because the 30% MS boost is helpful in Team Fights.

PRESS THE ATTACK RUNE - Used when the player tends to take advantage of the opponent having a bad match up and wants to snow ball off them by eliminating them or by simply taking control of the lane because in case the opponent isn't confident in themselves.

Used when the Yasuo player is confident in his ability to survive with supporting buffs from his team's support to the point the player simply wants to output more damage in team fights.
