I feel like we are being forced into voice chat

I feel many players don't want voice chat with randoms, and riot is forcing it upon us thinking they know whats best.

What do you guys think?

I agree with you.

  • People will stop using pings and you will put your team in huge disadvantage if you prefer not to use voice chat.
  • How reports will work? Speach to text? It doesn't always work and when 5 people will talk at the same time it will be even worse.

I think it's fine since players can use it if they want or ignore it if they'd rather do that.

With the option to mute, I think its a really cool feature.

Riot isn't forcing anything. They have gotten many requests for voice chat and many requests to not make voice chat, they know it's a controversial topic. So they know they have to be careful with it. I don't want voice chat but saying Riot is forcing it because they know what's best is stupid.
