I love the RNG of role selection

Its gotten so bad now that; I would rather dodge 5 games and lose 15 LP and Wait a day. Then play my secondary that I got 5 times in a row. Coming from a mid main.

My terrible luck whenever I get anything other then mid is amazing. Lol.

But seriously riot. Can you explain to me why in the last like 3-6 weeks.

I have gotten my secondary (while soloing), 80% of the time. Out of the last 20 games (Solo [Including dodges]) I've gotten mid 4 Times?

All 4 of those times I have gotten Mid was because I was Mid/Jungle. My third best role. Every time I do my best role and second best role. I get Top every game.

Someone tell me the secret to getting me mid. While I solo queue.

Same thing has been happening to me. I literally got matched into a game with 5 people as bot preference on my smurf. My silver 1 smurf. I lost my series because I got my secondary role games 2-4, and then I got my secondary again after that. 4 in a row.

I don't understand why that shit happens. Literally doesn't make sense to me. Even % chance should have it to where mid is at worse 35%-65%. Out of 7 games. I should have had it 1 or 2 times. But apparently not? Thank riot. I solely blame you

Evidently you need to queue with me. I get my secondary role (mid) over half the time. Every other season I got jungle 90% of games and support a good 10%, but that's fine because I like support. Now if I put support secondary I almost exclusively get it.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who removed support from their list entirely.

Almost every player in the game doesn't even put the taboo of support on their list anymore. Even the people who are secondary support don't put support on their list. Because. They get it; with no regard to their primary.

I'm on Dodge number 6 right now. Lets see if I can get 10 games in a row! Where I dodge because riot decided that I dont need to go mid since I win at mid.

If it goes longer than the predicted time, restart it. That stops an autofill. Then it's just luck. Last time I tried getting mid to play ryze, I got it and I normally play jg/top

I'm on game 9 of only getting secondary. That currently means I have less then a 1/8th chance of getting mid on average. That includes my Promos.

That is unfortunate. Does anyone know if Riot's confirmed that you're supposed to get your primary role more frequently than your secondary? I'm not sure that is the way the system is intended to function even though it's what the name would suggest. I believe the system assumes you're equally eager to play both your primary and secondary role (and that they are named as such for no reason).
