Building AP and CDR on Shen?
Now I know Shen is getting a rework, but I've been playing him a bit recently to get the hang of his E and R (I love his ult and I keep forgetting that I need to actually hit people with his dash rather than be near them. I have bad moments with new champions and I still suck with 
).
Now his R has a 135% AP ratio. So just one AP item should be enough to make it useful right? I usually decide to grab 
to buff up the shield, but is it really worth it over grabbing a different MR item (I'm not used to MR and AP items when tanking beyond 
or 
. Really I would like to see more variety in MR items. Can't say how many times I wanted to get 
for its passive and CDR but since he uses energy it's a damn waste).
I've also noticed a lot of guides seem to suggest an attack speed item like 
(which has MR so I should look into that) or 
. Why?
And does anyone have any recommendations for a CDR item on Shen? I like his ult and I think I'd help my team more if I could use it more often. At least getting 20% CDR would be satisfactory with me.
