If I ult an ulting TF with zed. why doesn't zed teleport with the TF?.

does zed ult have range limit. or does it not follow teleports. because it follows dashes and blinks.

TF ulting to his fountain with a yellow card ready is now a new meta to counter Zed

Or just anyone recalling with baron (or without baron if the zed is really dumb).

as much as I hate Zed and think Zed players need to be dropped into mount doom, I would sooo support this because this sounds funny as hell.

The unseen TP is the deadliest.

global(semiglobal) TPs are exeptions to the 'follow through' mechanics. It's not only Zeds ult, but also noc ult, vi ult, mao W and all the other targeted gapcloser that normally follow the target. Might have been a spilover from when they fixed gapcloser following recalls with the right timeing at some point in the past. Nothing was more manly than jumping across half the map with pant's W(NOT ult) to kill the opponent in his fountain(or die trying)

Tell me you've seen the Leblanc bug.

pretty sure this was intended so champions with global tp can't just bring some targeted gapcloser to death.

Yet we have Fizz

I think it did at one point, and it was messed up.

It used to a long time ago however they've been patching all of these oddities up over the years. Back in Season 2 / 3 I believe Zed's ult could follow TF ult and Nocturne ult. As it works now, I think Zed's ult is somewhat stationary, which basically means that you can't move any farther than the maximum duration of the stealth portion of the ability. Since it takes time to travel from point A to point B over a large range Zed's ultimate wouldn't last long enough to move him so he just stays at the last point the enemy was located.

Also this is the mechanic you were thinking of however it's long been patched:

This used to work on tons of champions, not just Lee Sin.

Not just Zed, Lee Q and Urgot ult would be 10/10

Imagine urgot tp'ing across map because he ulted TF at the exact moment he teleported

Spoofghoul1 votes

urgot can't because he supresses you with ult

then you can't do anything like blinking or teleporting

i have on occasions dragged people accross the map with sions ult like a thresh who hooked me during ult

and a zed who thought he was cute and could ult me and kill me, he couldn't he ended up stunned under a tower for 4 seconds :D

dragged a lee a good while once too

it's funny to use sions ult this way ^^ let me take you on the pain train to my mountain of the dead and toss you on the top cos it needed a new peak

Yes it does, actually. I think redmercy tested it by ulting someone right as the latter was about to teleport, but he stayed behind.

I'm not sure. Everytime I play Yi mid and TF ults, I never follow him with alpha. Maybe I just time it wrong.

There's some kind of max range in place where following your target is concerned. If they teleport outside of that range your gap-closer stops and you get dropped where you are.
