Is kat's ultimate being changed?

I know they are reworking her, but the only thing that really needed reworking was the ultimate. I mean every game mode I play she is banned just because of her ult.

Her W is completely changed, and her Q and E have significant changes. Her ultimate was unchanged outside of slight buffs.

Also for future reference you should check on the PBE changes from sites like Surrender@20 since everything is listed there. I am curious what game modes you're playing though, since Kat is a very uncommon ban outside of a couple of the rotating game modes. I guess in Twisted Treeline her passive lets her jump/kill everyone because you are all so close together there. But all champions and reworks are built and balanced for Normals/Ranked on Summoners Rift - if Kat is banned in the game you play now, she will probably continue to be banned so I wouldn't worry about it.

It also ticks faster and does more damage now.

iirc it's not. It's that and her passive that are not being changed mechanically. There are some changes to the damage but i dont remember if its a buff or nerf.

You see her banned in FGMs like Ascension or Hexakill often. People are often grouped together and have hectic teamfights letting her AoE everyone down and get resets
