Why do people say the game is too objective based?

I've read things that suggest the team that wins dragons and rift have a huge advantage that determine the game. But in my experience the only ones thay really matter are infernal and rift. Rift might secure firstblood tower gold. Infernal leads to more kills and scales for teamfights.

But the dragons dont grant significant gold or xp. Only first tower kill gives the bonus gold.

So why do people act like junglers who are able to snowball all the objectives are overpowered?

Mountain is, imo, the most useless buff. Chances are if you are in a position to take a tower then you're either going to take it or you arent regardless of the buff. Sure, if you have three mountains you might be able to baron a lot safer and quicker, and win the game off that baron, but thats a pretty rare scenario.

Ocean might help with laning, but rarely scales to be useful late game.

Cloud rarely is going to make or break you.

Cloud was just buffed from only really helping jg and rotations to actually being usefull. Mountain and cloud have there places and all drake buff elder.

Jg will always have the most objective control unless the rework the game completely. Just like adcs will always be the safest to take towers and supports normally have the most utility. Its the basis of there roles.

What I'm saying is, I've played jungle for objective control and gotten all the dragons, and unless it's infernal I never feel like it's game deciding.

I feel like my time would be better spent playing a gank jungler to snowball bot lane than playing an objective control jungler.

Of course, this is silver. So that could be a factor.

sure none of the drakes are game changeing as a single one but stacked theyre good as well as they can be used to bait a team fight

The point is, playing for that as your goal isn't going to be as game changing as just playing a gank jungler who gets an early tower.

Sure but now your talking about types of jgers. Thats like comparing a lane bully adc with a mage support vs a hypercarry and an enchanter. You have different team comps with different win conditions.

It doesnt seem to be a team comp issue. It seems to be a deaign issue that with the current state of balance that objective control, powerfarming, and scaling are not really good jungler strategies. Ganking is everything now.
