Grounded Debuff of Morde's W

Hey guys, I have some ideas for Mordekaiser buffs: We all know that his W is so unreliable. E.g. a Nidalee is ganking you, and in that moment you want to heal of her she just jumps away, or when u want to kill a Trynda, he spins away, you can't catch up because your Stormraider Mastery is on Cooldown. I have this problem so many times, that I couldnt punish x-champion for fighting me. So how about putting the grounded debuff on mordekaiser's W when the circles overlapp. It would really help him in teamfights, too, because then, he can focus mobile ADCs better.

And speaking of Mordekaiser buffs, how about this: When Mordekaiser uses his E on a Target who has his ult on (who is cursed) the E ability has a special bonus.

It can: slow the target/stun it/deals more dmg/heals Morde/pulls Target back to Morde (kinda like Kled's Q)/gives morde more shield/gives or steals MR/etc.

I love playing Morde, and I know he's not that great, so some buffs would be nice.

Idk, the only way that a melee champ can fight a morde is by going in and out real quick. With grounded debuff, there isn't much room for outplaying a morde as a melee.

Since morde is around 50% winrate in top and jungle, I think he doesn't really need straight out buffs. Perhaps some QoL changes.

yeh i wouldnt mind that you can still cc him and kill him anyway. this will help him in some gapclosing matchUps he might become the new best counter to Yasuo aswell. +1 might prove broken with Rylais tho you never know

I agree Grounded could be a more wide spread mechanic, but do you have any idea what you would be unleashing if you added Grounded to Morde's W?

How about they start with making it so hitting W doesn't cancel the damage from his next auto attack.

Yeah. Its great when you do this and cancel all damage from the third Q. Really makes it special to miss all your damage.
