what if morde shield generation got the same treatment as aatrox healing

and its based on max health and not damage? Personally i think this could go a long way to get rid of 1 unhealthy mechanic morde has.

i know many people are complaining about aatrox being undertuned

the purpose of this thread is game health.

It is based off max health that increases max shield. Shield Generation is tied to" damage done"

#which needs to go.

Shield Generation needs to be a flat amount based on the spell used.

Which allows for the ability to change how much shield generates from which ability. Ie Successive strikes of his Q could give more shield. Spamming E on same target does less. Lots of balancing tools

And if the generation is constant then if Mordekaiser is behind he can build tanky and actually be tanky. While not doing alot of single target damage.

Which would make him less feast or famine. Which increases Mordes game health.

yea flat could work if its the same as like E for example % shield based on if you hit champions or minions

Or they could balance it around ALL damage he deals

now it's just his spells

i want it to work for item 3068 and basic attacks and on hit effects like item 3748

It fits his character. Morde feeds off the suffering of others, so of course his shield is tied to his damage. It also allows Riot to make his shield super super strong when he's continually dealing damage and far weaker when he isn't, again fitting the theme of a juggernaut.

He already partially works like that and i always prefered having a good amount of tank items. His maximum shield is based on max health and his E gives you percentage shield for champions hit. Ofc if you just build raw offense as your first items, you won't notice a lot of tankiness.

I always see players using item 3146 on him which i think is way too squishy. I prefer going item 3078 item 3116 and then tank.

They build gunblade for sustain and a single target slow

which is the only thing keeping champions close enough so he can kill them

IIRC it's not based on how much damage he deals anymore, just that he deals damage.

Besides, that's what the cap and the decay are for.
