An Inconsistency With The Blue Essence Store Chroma Price

Whenever a Chroma would go on an IP sale, it would cost 2000 IP. Which is rather reasonable for a Chroma skin you are suppose to spend RP for.

However, according to what we've been told, in the Blue Essence Store Chromas will remain 2000 BE. Looks normal right? Wrong.

Apparently when the IP to BE convergence happens, all of your current BE is going to be multiplied by 6.5 and all current IP prices are going to be changed based on Blue Essence convergence numbers. This means that with the x6.5 onto Blue Essence the total IP price per Chroma skyrockets to 13000.... 2000 to 13000 using IP numbers. x6.5 the standard IP Chroma price is ridiculous.

Blue essence =/= IP price right now.

If IP = BE during the conversion. how the fuck does 2000 become 13000? 2000 becomes 2000, plus what you get from the BE you had previously, making it, effectively, cheaper.

What should really concern you is how much harder it will be to get BE (IP) after the update, since you'll only get it on level ups.

You need to read up about how BE numbers are going to work. It's not a direct 1 : 1 change, there are going to be major changes to prices. The only 1 : 1 is your current IP being changed into BE, everything else changes.

No... everything is going to be the same the onlything that changes is the 6.5 multiply from your old BE to your new BE

^This. IP is going to be called Blue Essence after the merge . Things that cost IP currently will not have their prices changed at all, because the IP currency is not changing value. The currency that is currently called Blue Essence is changing it's value, which is why it is getting multiplied, so that it is equal to current IP. Therefore, Chromas and Champions will not have their prices changed.

That's exactly what I said...

IP->BE at a 1:1. That means 2000 IP = 2000 BE.

Plus the blue essence you had before being added to your pool at a 6.5x rate.

The only issue is going to be the rate at which we get champion shards/BE post-update because they're removing rewards from post-game, moving them to levels instead.

The only way your argument would make sense is if chromas CURRENTLY cost 2000 BE, which they don't.
