i just played ugly Urgot Urgot in bot lane a few games ago and yes he may not do a ton of damage but his damage reduction is the most useful thing he has. that and an ability to spam the crap out of his lane opponent. He just requires a higher level of play than most champions and is very team fight required champion. summoner 3 and summoner 4 summoner spells on him grant him even more utility provided you dont get caught out and start losing lane. also getting a tear of the goddess early on helps this boy out a lot. this is my build for him if you are taking him bot lane: 1.start with item 1055 (this should give you the lifesteal you need till later) 2.pick up the item 3070 next (upgrade it to item 3042 asap) 3. buy item 3047 also (the 10% damage reduction from basic attacks is op down in bot) 4. get a item 3134 . (armor pen and cdr lol) 5. item 3110 and item 3068 should be your defense (FH increases your mana pool so your shield gets bigger) 6. you'll need a item 3071 as well. 7. finally trade out your item 1055 with a item 3153 and you've become god. (provided your team knows how to follow up :P) also if you can lane with some one who is going to go full ap (and can actually do some damage) his synergy with Viktor is insane. most of the early game farm should be yours though so you have the gold to keep up with your opponents adc. your ap support can get fed off of your kills in lane. later towards mid game they will be able to wave clear faster than you so their cs wont be lacking. let Viktor pop his gravitational field thing on you while you just ult and switch places stunning the target. after your combo the whole team should be dead. Urgot support can actually work surprisingly well.

Blue Urgot (With both Tear items + Frozen Heart + Iceborn) can tank for years. 7 second cooldown on a +600 hp shield

Yea, you can do both tear items. Just make sure you get the other tear when the first tear you got is already a item 3042 or a item 3048 .

Don't forget to use the Seraph Passive. Most people get surprised when they see an Urgot with an "Emergency Power-System".
