Unable to change an Oathsworn Champion [Kalista's black spear]

I'm not sure if this is intentional, but during this one game I played as my adc (and soulbound) [yes, I played her support] rages and eventually afk's. So naturally I got a new Black Spear thing and tried to bind another champion, but to no avail. For a heavily cooperative champion like this leaves her in a very undermining situation where she can't be utilized to her full potential. Agreed that taking into account an AFK or a Summoner raging more than , or probably shouldn't be a factor to balancing out or recoding aspects of a champion, with I think it would be worth looking at.

because if you accidentally get rid of the spear, you can rebuy it with no problem, but if you bond someone, you're stuck with them. Flip side. I can bond my lane partner until mid/late game when the tanky top/jungle initiator would make a better choice, then switch when it is convenient. kinda makes the permanent choice irrelevant.

edit to clarify. it would be OP if she could switch halfway through game.

Talk about unfaithful. You got through a divorce and try remarry as soon as it is over.

Also, Riot should allow us to resist getting oathsworned if we don't want to (Defiled).

Not really... we kinda actually won because he went afk, he had decent stats, so once super minions started popping in our base i ulted him and forcefully put him near the nexus tower to auto attack them. He even got a kill like that. In that sense i think Kalista was OP.
