So I was just wondering what everyone's favorite sleeper picks were?

For me its Brand Xerath Lux in the sup role

Orianna Just played a game as Orianna and I find her massively underrated and underplayed. Her passive and low cooldowns allow her to function both as top and mid, she can shield herself, and her basic attacks can eventually shread through people. I demolished Yasuo in lane and his jungler had to camp with didnt help all that much cause of my positioning. She's an awesome champion

Oh don't worry You'll see her at worlds for the 4th consecutive time or so

Cassiopeia mid: Nobody except the pros realize how good she can be.

Bard jungle: Just generally amazing. He is the only jungler that can dive a tower like it isn't even there.

For Bard, slightly better than Mundo and Sion.

Varus. He's actually pretty strong if you can manage your mana (I go Manamune). His poke is pretty awesome in lane, and his ult is great for teamfights.

Lulu top and mid. decent damage and lots of utility

lux is a known support. its good for lane bully but offers a bit less than other supps in mid late game. But anyway i like playing lux support mainly cause its jsut fun. brand and xerath jsut seem like ridiculous supports to be tho i have seen good players go brand support. I think someone needs to articulate to me why this would possibly be logical for the big picture.

Because your ult does so much damage in team fights that despite being in a sup role its like a second mid

You just wait till theres a team fight in the forest and your ult bounces only on the enemy team just by pressing r

Also if you get the enemy bot away from their minions then same concept press r and bounces between the two of them kinda like fiddle support.

well sure u will do damage but a good team comp needs somebody who has some cc/sustain/peel and stuff and support is natural role for that. lux is weaker than a normal support in that way but can do it so-so with shield snare and slow. And because of range she can stay somewhat kinda safe in the process. her subpar support is kinda compensated by having very strong laning and reasonable damage. Brand/xerath just have nothing to offer really in support role. IM sure their lane phase is dangerously strong but you are going to need some mid or top or jungle with serious cc and tankiness because it seems to me teamfights are just impossible with nobody fillign that role

If you're leaving the sup to fill the role of tank you're already doing something wrong

That being said i rarely use these sups in ranked because of that reason

supps can tank well enough...if its the only tank on the team then thats hard but they are not bad for soaking some damage and distracting people. leona/alistar/blitz/nautilus supports seem to do well enough absorbing some dmg when they support. not top lank tank level but not bad either.
