Mundo Q minimum damage, + how to deal with Mundo question

It has come to my attention that the minimum damage is after resists, so even against someone stacking MR, his Q would still do upwards 200 damage, based on rank. And since it scales on your health as well, building that doesn't work too great either. If you build damage, his Q minimum damage and rest of his bases will kill you, fairly quickly, too. So how do you deal with him, build wise?

Also, perhaps, if this were cleared up, Mundo or Grasp could see some buffs.

Ight.

Executioners by itself usually isn't enough if you're melee, and if you can't buy the others I'm guessing lifesteal helps?

Well if you build pure damage you will take a lot of damage from Mundo, although not so mcuh at level 18 with base resists and more hp. Obviously if you're an adc you can get Mortal reminder. Aside from other antitank items you can get MR. I wouldnt recommend building antitank if your a melee champ, not unless you are aa based maybe. I was playing Mundo and the enemy Riven had a mortal reminder and Black cleaver, but she would do better building to kill my teams squishies. I was an tanky monster late but if the enemy adc had reached the late game as well, I would have been useless.

Mundo could use a buff, His weak in the early levels and useless when the enemy adc has crit and armour pen. An early game champ like Darius can be more useful lategame due to having some utility.

Hecarim does Mundo's job better, He has much more mobility, 2 hard cc's and a cc imunity ult on Mundo. Mundo deosn't compare to Olaf well either, Olaf is very similar but strong from the start.

He's pretty tough to 1v1 later on, even when building to counter him. I guess lifesteal is pretty decent too?

Heca can't poke nearly as well, and he can't retaliate to trades as well, due to his E needing charging to do decent damage.

There are better duelists. lifesteal is a counter if you want to be able to 1v1 him, in a tf you counter him with slows.

Heca is played in the jungle usually, but if you hide behind minions Mundo can only occassionly land a q. Mundo's q isn't that threatening in sieges. Mundo's q is good for farming at range, a champ with no range can be harrassed so easily.

are you sure thats after resistances?

even if it is, building health and mr still works. you build enough mr to reduce the damage to 200, and additional health from that point increases the number of cleavers hed have to hit in a row to seriously threaten you.

any form of health regeneration or sustain helps aswell. so item 3065 is a really good item against his cleaver spam.

not only does it minimize the cleaver damage you take, but it also allows you to regenerate a lot of health between the cleaver hits.

Yes, I'm sure it's after resists. Just saw Bjergsens 1v1 video, and after a 3/5's health his Q's starting doing 60 damage, which I know is the minimum. And, when they got even lower, it still did 60 damage, not 25%/at least 60 then reduced by resists.
