Calling for a nerf to Fiddlesticks' early laning phase(His crows)

I don't mean supp fidds, i'm talking of Mid lane fidds. Early he's able to cast his bouncing crow with little to no mana cost. It targets you for a chunky amount of damage and he can virtually stay in lane forever. as a mag who engages, he fears, sucks and silences for him to stay in lane more. i think his crows should cost more mana than it is for he's able to throw then right now with no consequences. Edit: Thank you for explaining more

I've not played against many mid lane Fids but when I have it HAS indeed been annoying. He gets to mindlessly spam his E on each wave. It bounces 5 (FIVE) times AND prioritizes enemies not yet hit. Minion waves only have 6 (or 7) targets for it, so if he casts it you either need to back the heck away from your minions or you're definitely taking a bounce (which comes with decent damage and a silence). It also gives bonus damage against minions, so if you do back the ** off, he easily pushes your wave very quickly then can retreat to his tower as to avoid ganks (he can finish the melees in the time you're running away from and back to your wave).

I find his laning style to be very non-interactive. He E's the wave and you run away and back to it (to avoid a bounce), he clears the melees and retreats to his tower, you clear the wave in response, as the next wave arrives he returns to cast it as soon as the first is in range (and if you're not done the previous wave yet you either sacrifice the rest of the last hits to the tower as you avoid the bounce, or you take the bounce). He remains at full health the entire time - even if you manage to get him somehow (e.g. land a charm on him as he approaches to use E then combo him) he just drains off the melees while you avoid bounces and he has you pushed in. All while he remains at higher mana than you can while trying to get last hits under the tower. If you get a gank he can easily (targeted) fear your jungler off of him while he retreats, so you don't even have the option of having the jungler pressure him from behind while you avoid the bounce (i.e. the jungler can't just 1v1 him unless really fed).

Fiddle is a very high performing mid laner right now (I know champion.gg has garbage data although they have him first, op.gg is more reliable and he's okay but I believe it and other data sites are bad at multi-roll champions [i.e. fiddle's rate is brought way down by jg and supp fidd]). He brings lots of utility, safe laning, and a solid teamfight presence.

I don't think he's necessarily OP (don't see him enough to know frankly). However I'd rather see the E mana cost increased (or even just the bonus damage against minions removed, leave it on only monsters) and compensation buffs elsewhere to make him more interactive.

i've been seeing him a lot in high elo streams. I don't think he's op either, but theres something that changed in his kit that made his playrate increase in higher elo.

They us him against Irven when he jungles. It makes since because he has a hard time against invades.
