Thoughts on playing yo-yo between 2 divisions?

I think the new free win for promo series is a step in the right direction, but is it sufficient?

Before, losing in Gold3 at 0 LP would put you in Gold4 at 75 LP. You then needed 4 wins to get back in Gold3 at 0 LP (2 to get back in series + 2 to win the series). Now you only need 3 wins (1 less needed to win the series). Still, you need 3 wins to compensate 1 defeat, if it is at the critical point.

Also, with games making you earn/lose ~15 LP, it's quite easy to change division, even with relatively short streaks, easily attributable to luck, like 4 games in a row. And I don't know about you, but I find it very frustrating to have my division change every other day.

What's your advice? Any idea on improving the situation?

i think they should make the LP win/loss less drastic, i understand its a team game but sometimes it is incredibly frustrating to win lane and then see their jg or adc come up to top lane and they are 5/0/0....

Personally i would prefer to see movement in ranked based a little more on personal play, like how we have those ratings after every game, that should be taken into account along with if your team won/lost.
