Despite him and Sejuani basically doing the exact same thing in term of identity. Even their ults have the same intended effect of locking 5 people down, the difference is that Amumu carries himself into it.

mummy deals more damage and only snares/silences, sejus actually stuns while dealing lesser damage offering more in terms of raw utility.

Yeah i think that was what he was getting at. Slightly different kits that do very similar things/have similar playstyles so OTP players aren't boned.

back in my day you had to be proficient in all roles and positions otherwise you would never climb in elo without dodging.

its not that the diamond riven player isn't a good player, its just that when not on riven, they have a sub 50% win rate and cant maintain the elo.

no im saying that amumu and seju are different enough where everything they have is allowed.

(highlight being amumu deals better damage and has a damage and a tank route, where seju is more geared towards initiation and peeling)

its also why all 5 of those champs (despite being cancer incarnate) are allowed to exist, because they each offer league something unique enough to call their own and it earns them the right.

he had 4x thornmails, full armor build, aka a build that would never happen/ be viable in a real game b/c if he did try that any decently fed ap champ would make him explode by looking at him funny.

Edit: he's a strong tank mid/lategame but his early game is definitely weak and he's very team dependent the whole game if he goes full tank. Team doesnt follow up on an ult that catches the whole enemy team and watch how fast amumu dies.

this type of "example" can be done w/ many champs and many builds that are just dumb to actually try in game.

I think there's more at play than just that. I think he had a Spellvamp Item too, since whenever the MF's auto attacked him he recovered significant portions of his health while they died to Thornmail's magic damage.

But consider Spellvamp items don't exist any more... Nerfs delivered!

Guys, he had a gunblade (for lifesteal) and 5 thornmails. Vandril does this stuff for fun. Good youtube channel posts cool stuff.
