Tryndamere' s Rage

I was thinking about a way to remove Tryndamere' s influence to critical strike: it' s the least healty stat in the whole game and with a less than bgright future, plus the whole rage to crit thing makes him feel a lot more like a ball of stats. I have some changes in order to increase the interaction with him and his skillful use, and i want to see what do you think:

The changes are mostly to passive, Q and ult, the ones that have relations with crit ( i prefer to not touch yet E)

**-(Passive) Battle Fury: Tryndamere gets fury with autoattacks, crits and kills as now, but the rage grants Attack Damage instead of critical strike chance. ** While this does not completely remove the "ball of stat" aspect gives some more clear indication about his points of strenght; compared to other bruisers and carries he can have a lower AD base, that becomes balanced at 20 or 50 rage and then becomes more powerful to your average fighter/carry. The AD increase scales per level. I did not wanted to change it too much because removing all the free stats could have unbalanced him too much, and i have simply picked the passive from Q and translated to this, focusing more on changing the interaction.

-(Q) Bloodlust: Tryndamere heals himself of a base, increased by % of health missing, and gets X rage for rank. Passive effect removed. This is not a casual thing: since he heals on % of health missing he can' t spam it in order to heal a lot and gain free rage, so he must decide if he wants free rage or heals, and if it is worth the downtime while the skill is in cooldown. It is also a great way to survive in the lane phase, since in the actual state if he gest stomped he can hardly fight back and deciding to level this will make his lane phase more comfortable. Also i want it to increase with ranks so in lategame he is not forced to start a tf with 0 rage without farming the wraiths first, so he can decide to throw the heal in order to get rage immediately ( i was thinking 50 rage at rank 5).

-(R) Undying Rage: While under the effect he can' t be killed, he gains the maximum AD avaiable from his passive, he is no more able to gain rage while in effect and loses rage over time. The effect ends when the rage reaches 0, and can be cast only with 50 rage minimum. No more grants rage. With these changed we have several benefits: you can determine how much his ult lasts, you give him some restriction on use and so the enemy can force his use ( like forcing him to throw Q and don' t get heals ), if you get him offguard he is no more able to 1v3 your team and we have power room so we can make it more powerful, for example giving him more stable stats from his passive. The duration with 100 rage is approximately as it is live, maybe even a bit more but that is a matter of balancing.

Now there are still problems with him; for example the CC weakness, almost unforgivable for a melee carry, but my focus was more on his resource economy and healtyness(?). His skillset still scales well with crit ( since E and passive get some benefits ) but now he is no more based over it and can pick some other stats of he desires.

I also aknowledge he is not so OP and that he can be countered, and these changes are not made so he is more or less powerful but instead more comfortable and "modern" to play.

What do you think?

EDIT: just a personal opinion, i hate when i forget to attach images.

Not a meaningful change, very similar to old tryn, weaker than live by a lot, and I personally dislike it. But I like that you are thinking.

I agree that it is a lot weaker, but what it mattered to me was the concept; since it is weaker then you have a good excuse to buff in some points without adding pure stats ( like decrease the ult cooldown, increase the scaling on E or the heal ) so you can redistribuite his power.

Welp, guess next time i will conceive the changes in a very very broken way so it will be more popular : P
