So what is Riot doing with Poppy?

I heard that riot is still working on her, but in what direction is her kit going?

Riot hasn't given us any clues regarding the process yet.

That's why I'm asking, I know what IronS said about her visuals but I'm a little concerned riot isn't asking for feedback about her gameplay at this point. Part of me is thinking: big changes and I don't know to what.

Now I'm also thinking I should hold off on getting any skins for her (I do like playing her) because I've got no clue what the end result will be.

According to RoG and S@20, RiotScruffy said she and a few others (ryze, taric, and trist) are going along fine. That's why I'm hoping they'd be willing to talk about her a little. Is she going to be a tank? An assassin? A chaser? A more balanced hypercarry? AD, AP, or hybrid?

So if they prove to be unwilling to talk about her, I'd be forced to ask about why are the players being kept in the dark.

Speaking of Ryze, Trist, and Taric, what is riot doing about them as well? Taric was overnerfed so he shouldn't need more than a little tweak. I don't know why champup is bothering with him instead of the live team. Trist has a little too much in her kit (range, escape, aoe damage) so something will have to give. Ryze... well I think riot is mad at him for going top again so I'm not sure what's going to happen to him.

I'm not sure what Riot is going to do with most of them to be honest. With Taric, I imagine his scalings need to be tweaked, his stun needs a major rework so it's not targeted, and I'm hoping they'll turn some of that invisible power of his into visible power, that way he can actively stay in the fight instead of having to hide in the back lines until he gets four or more items.

Well, with their recent changes to make her E work with champion-created terrain, they'll probably keep that ability relatively untouched. And her ult being as iconic as it is, they'll probably keep it at least in part (IMO, if she could at least be CC'd by other champions, it'd be a lot more fair).

The biggest changes are probably going to be to her passive and her W, because her passive is broken and her W doesn't really have any interesting gameplay to it. I'll guess they'll focus on making her a more AD focused aggressive bruiser, and keep her carry-killing playstyle.

That's just spitballing, though, I don't have any real information, but I'm pretty sure that's the direction they'll take her, just based on their past champion updates.
