Who the hell counters Tryndamere now?

Teemo has a blind that doesn't last half as long as Trynd's ult. Slows are nothing when Trynd can dash up to you and crit you to death since you're squishy. Jax is broken and counters everything that breathes right now. He doesn't count. Malphite can't do anything. I've seen this matchup so many times. The Malphite is left helpless against a Tryndamere who is straight up shredding him, even with ridiculous amounts like 500 armor.

On another note, who the hell counters Fiora?

Pantheon doesn't stand a chance against that true damage. And his W is predictable to the point that Fiora can royally screw him up. If you see a Pantheon walking up to you, do you think he's going to give you a hug? Darius will get decimated by the true damage Fiora possesses. She can easily W his ult, which is predictable in itself. Renekton and Darius are both going to counseling for dealing with her torment.

I know I suck at this game, but I have no clue what creature counters these demons.

Ever consider something less traditional? You don't have to have a "top" laner up top. Tryn pissing you off? Take Tristana up there against his ass. Trist jump > Tryndamere's sissy dash. Not to mention that if you time your grenade correctly you'll basically kill him every time his ult ends. The fact that she gains more range with levels means she'll be harder for him to do anything about with each passing level. I haven't played against the reworked Fio enough to know what the best means of addressing her is. I do remember Rumble being hell for her originally. I could see how he could be like that to her currently as well. Odds are that ranged toons will merc on these two all day though. Though, as with any toon, time and exposure will make you better at playing against them.

I don't see anybody beating her, though. Her counterplay used to be:

  1. Build armor and HP to survive her damage.
  2. CC her during her Burst of Speed in order to reduce her damage output.
  3. Work as a team to peel for your carries and take her out before she does any real damage.

Riot literally removed all three.

  1. Her true damage is so ridiculous she's a better tank burster than Vayne.
  2. Her W can negate all your retaliation and throw it back at you.
  3. She has an unconditional Yasuo E-Q on a 2.8 second codown. I've had fights where we stun her for over 5 seconds and a fed Vayne is focusing her and Fiora STILL DOESN'T DIE. If she autos anyone, she heals for incredible amounts with any lifesteal. She deletes squishies, she deletes tanks, her ultimate can be used on the tank to get even more HP to survive the carries... in general she's a raid boss. But not in the traditional sense.

The only thing I can see beating her is something with incredible sustain like late game Aatrox or Olaf. Attack speed slows don't do much, armor and HP are obsolete, and CC is guaranteed to go to waste.

I seriously don't know whether Fiora or Tryndamere would win in a matchup.

They are all kinda designed to be upfront and heavy damage while there, you gotta kite and mitigate the damage they intend to do, avoid the damage you can avoid and act on their mistakes, they will be looking for you to slip up and let them get close but if you can zone and deal smart damage, you can bring the giants down [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] Except Teemo, just item 3070

Is there a single champion that can lane against Tryndamere, though? Seriously, all he does is split push all game and it takes disproportionately way too much effort and too many resources to catch and kill him.

Either that was a really bad Fiora, you're a really good Ryze, or both.

Or maybe it's because I play tanks, and build items to MITIGATE damage, but end up getting skewered anyway.

I'm just gonna take that as a compliment [slayer-jinx-wink] Try picking up Gnar, he's the best top laner imo, (when mastered) and can kite like a boss. Once she hits late game there's really nothing you can do except CC her when her Riposte is down and try to burst her with your team, but other than that you're pretty much screwed.

For one, malphite wrecks tryndamere past 10 minutes. Early game, yeah, trynd can cheese with crits and ignite but later it just doesn't work.

Nothing counters fiora, tier godlike in the top lane. When you see a champion whose kit is solely damage and zero utility being spammed in professional play, it's a clear sign that said champ is broken.

No way Tryndamere can easily fight a good Malphite. I main Tryndamere and always use Malphite to crush Tryndamere.

I used to as well. But nowadays Malphite can't do much to stop Tryndamere. Even if you win lane, Tryndamere will just split push all game and never get caught. His E has such a short coodown that he's incredibly difficult to chase. Not to mention it takes almost all your resources to prevent Tryndamere from skewering your carries. Malphite just gets shredded by Trynd now, and building a Doran's Blade is all Trynd needs to do to outsustain thornmail.

...get better at Malphite. There are not a lot of GOOD Tryndamere players.

Rush Sunfire, Frozen heart, thornmail, Teleport and ignite and Trynd can't push.
